Delilah's POV
I blinked my eyes open with the confusion of not completely knowing where you are that happens sometimes when you're exhausted and fall asleep quickly. "Hey Doc. There ya are love. I thought you were gonna sleep all night. Wanna get up and get ready for dinner, or would ya like me ta bring ya back a plate?" Daryl's hands rubbed my arms gently as he talked to me.

I tried to stretch my stiff body. "Mmmmm.  No darlin'. I wanna go to dinner. The band is here tonight, remember? I've really been missin' them." I reached up and ran my fingers through the hair that touched below his collar.

Daryl lowered his head and kissed from my cheek to my lips. He paused briefly, barely touching his lips to mine, making me crave his kiss even more. My hands pulled his hair toward me, and he crushed his lips against mine. His kisses never failed to make me want more of him, and he knew the power he had over me. I groaned into his mouth and he took the opportunity to slide his tongue into my mouth.

We made out like teenagers for at least ten minutes, with both of us breathing rapidly when we finally broke the kiss. "We prolly don't have time ta finish this now Smokestack, but we will definitely finish what we started later tonight! Ya need help up love?"

I nodded and Daryl helped me off the bed. I went into the bathroom. "Oh! I almost forgot. I want to tell you something, but I don't wanna violate patient privacy."

Daryl came to the doorway. "Ya know ya ain't gotta worry 'bout gettin' in trouble with the government no more, right?"

I giggled. "Yeah Daryl. I know. But I still don't wanna tell something that could break trust. How 'bout I tell ya, but don't mention any names?" Daryl nodded. "Ok, well, I had a female patient come I today with a laceration on her face..."

I continued the story without mentioning any names knowing that if Daryl didn't figure out who it was by dinner, he would definitely know when he saw Jess with the bandage on her face that night. He listened closely to my worries that this could be a case of domestic abuse. "If it is, doncha have some obligation to report it to Rick?"

I nodded slowly. "Yeah, but not unless I have proof or some confirmation from her. If he is abusing her, I want to make certain it doesn't happen again. I don't know how to do that without confronting her, which could ruin our friendship; or confronting him, which could give away too much and then increase her risk."

Daryl thought about it. "I wish there was some way you could let him know that you suspect somethin'... subtle like. You know, without givin' it away completely. Just enough of a message that he's scared ta try it again."

I smiled at him. "Daryl Dixon! How'd you get ta be so smart? That's brilliant!"

Daryl blinked and looked slightly puzzled. "Not 100% sure what you're talkin' about Doc. But if I'm smart it started the day I decided I wanted ta spend the rest a my life with you."

He grabbed me as I walked past him to get my clean clothes, pulling my back against his chest and reaching his hands down to my belly. He bent down and whispered against my neck. "Smartest decision I made in my life. Ain't never regretted makin' this sexy ass mine."

His lips scorched a trail from the base of my neck to my ear. I leaned back against his body and leaned my head to the side giving him access to my neck. He began to bite and suck at my sweet spot. I groaned. "Oh fuck Daryl! I need you!"

Daryl paused long enough to ask one question. "Now?"

I nodded and reached behind me to palm his cock that was already straining against the fabric of his jeans. "Yes. Please. Now. We have time for a quickie. I just need ya ta fuck me."
