**Hey readers,
I may be a bit delayed in posting my chapters this weekend. I am in Portland Oregon, attending my very first Walker Stalker Con!! I'm super excited!!!! (See all the exclamation marks?) It's not a big con like Atlanta, and most of the stars that are still involved in the show are filming right now. We end up seeing a lot of the "dead" characters like Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Michael Cudlitz, and (my personal favorite) Michael Rooker. We do get to see Ross Marquand, Tom Payne, Josh McDermitt, Seth Gilliam, and Jordan Woods-Robinson. I'll post photos when I get the chance.
Hope y'all enjoy today's chapter!

Delilah's POV
Our family walked back home together after dinner. Daryl put his arm around my shoulder and drew me close to his side. "That song was perfect Doc. Almost like it was written for us."

I smiled up at him. "Thanks darlin'. I'm kinda glad money isn't a thing anymore. I feel richer right now than I've ever felt in my life. A couple more weeks and our new baby will be here... and then maybe I can be comfortable again."

He chuckled. "Yeah, that's about the only thing keepin' life from bein' perfect right now, huh?"

I nodded. "Yeah. This pain just seems ta be gettin' worse. I can't wait ta get home. I'm hopin' that soakin' in a tub full a warm water might help ease it up a bit."

We got back home and Max carried Mercy upstairs for me so I could nurse her. Daryl followed, but went into the bathroom before joining me on the bed. I heard water running and realized he was drawing me a bath. I tried to get comfortable as I was nursing Mercy, but the pain was getting more intense. Daryl came back into the room. "You ok Doc?"

I took a few slow, deep breaths. "I dunno Daryl. This is getting pretty bad. Maybe we should have someone go for Carson? I don't think it's just round ligament pain."

Daryl went downstairs and told Max to go to Rick and ask him to have someone radio Hilltop to have Dr. Carson come as quick as possible. He came back in the room a few minutes later with a bottle of water and tried to get me to drink some. I took a few sips. As soon as Mercy nodded off Daryl took her to her bedroom and tucked her into her crib.

I went into the bathroom and started to slowly undress. Daryl came back in. "Here. Lemme help ya love." He gently undressed me and helped me step into the tub.

I sank down into the warm water, breathing a sigh of relief. "Feel better?"

I took a few more deep breaths. "Yes. So much better."

Daryl knelt beside the tub and picked up a washcloth. He dipped it into the warm water, then held the cloth over my belly and squeezed the water out, dribbling it over the part of my belly that was not covered by the water. "Mmmmm. That feels good."

I laid my head back on the side of the tub. "That's it love. Just relax."

I nodded and reached out to hold his hand. "Yeah. It's better now darlin'. Thanks for helpin'. It's gonna be a long last couple a weeks if I have ta feel like this the whole time."

Daryl smiled. "Maybe he'll come a few days early?"

I chuckled. "Yeah. It would be nice if I had a better idea of how close Mercy was to her due date. It only felt as if I was pregnant with her for two years."

Roe knocked on the bathroom door and Daryl stepped out to talk to him. He and Max were both in the bedroom waiting too see if everything was ok. I started to feel very nauseous. "Daryl?"

He came quickly back into the bathroom? "Yes love?"

I gestured for the trash can and he handed it to me. He grabbed the washcloth and placed it on my forehead as I leaned over the edge of the tub. "Oh God!"
