chapter 5

-Rose-

'so, about that place i wanted to take you, wanna go tomorrow?'

should i really do this? should i go with him?i don't actually know him. all i know about him is his name and now his number. i don't know. 'i'll think about it.' i text him back just because i thought it would be rude not to. 'but don't take too long ; )' he said. 'i'll try not to : )' i sent the text then put my phone on vibrate. 

i put my earphones in and let myself drift into my own peaceful universe. unfortunately, that peaceful universe didn't stay peaceful for long, my phone vibrated. 

'Tiffany' i smiled when i saw my best friend's name on my phone. 

"hey, Tiff!" I picked up. "hey, Ro!" she answered with as much enthusiasm in her voice as that in mine. "i'm so glad you're calling me right now." i said honestly. "why? did anything happen?" she asked, concern and sincerity in her voice.

"well, kind of, but not really." i said, hesitantly. "and what's that supposed to mean?" she asked, confused. "look, long story short, i met a guy at the waffle shop we used to go and he took my number, now he texted me saying he wants me to go somewhere with him, i don't know whether i should go or not." i explained to her. "wanna know my opinion?" she asked. " no, i just told you the whole story for fun." i said sarcastically. "oh shut up." i laughed when she said that. she has always been the one how makes my day. "anyway, i think you should go." "but why? all i know about him is that his name is adam." i said

"so what? you didn't know me at some point, but we talked and hung out and now we are best friends." she said. "get to know him Rose. you need another friend, since i went back to Australia  you haven't done anything to lighten up your mood and don't try to deny it because i know you Ro." she continues. " for the next few months i'm not gonna be by your side and i don't want you to deal with that crap you have in your life alone again. you need someone who would cheer you up, make you do fun things, makes you laugh. so go with him you have nothing to lose.i don't want you to go back to that phase again. live a little." 

-Adam- 

"wait, so let me get this straight. you saw that girl again, and you actually have her number?!" xavier exclaimed. "yup, and we might hang out tomorrow." i told him. "where?" he asked. "i'm gonna take her to the cliff." "can i come with?" he asked. i looked at him confusingly. "what? no, it's just gonna be me and Rose, well if she actually agreed to come." i said. "oh, so her name is Rose?" he asked."yeah." 

my phone lit up with a notification, i opened my phone.'where are we gonna meet?' 

"wow, i did not see that coming." i looked up to see xavier looking down at my phone."why didn't you?" i asked him. "i don't know, i just didn't" he shrugged.
