Naruto's POV
I sat there staring at her. Sakura just kept crying and there wasn't anything I could do about it.
That bastard Sasuke is gonna pay for this.
I clenched my fist and shot up from my seat.
"I'll kill him" I started for the door when I felt something.
When I turned around Sakura was holding on to me. She didn't have to say anything for me to understand that she didn't want me to go.
I sat back down and hugged her awkwardly as she continued to cry into my chest.
I almost couldn't believe it. To think things were so different only this morning-

Tenten and Ino showed up to my house one day and-
"Just leave it to me!" I smiled and gave Tenten a thumbs up
"This is so wrong" Ino shook her head
"What? We promised WE wouldn't get involved" Tenten grinned
"So uh what is it that I'm doing again?" I asked since I agreed to help out without really listening
Tenten began to explain
"Ha?? Sasuke did that?" I asked in disbelief
"We couldn't believe it either!" Tenten respondes
"Well I kinda called it" Ino chimed in
"So what you want ME to tell her? There's no way she'll even believe me" I said waving my hand
"Why wouldn't she ?" Tenten asked
"Anything that has to do with sasuke she's gotta hear from him that's just how she is" I explained crossing my arms
"He has a point" Ino agreed
"I don't see why you agreed not to get involved what kind of friends are you choosing this Karin lady over Sakura??" I started to get irritated with them
"It's not like that! You're not a girl you wouldn't understand!" Ino barked at me
"She was just as heart broken we can't go back on our word" Tenten added
"Look if you don't want to help that's fine! We knew we couldn't count on you!" Ino turned around and started to walk away
"Ino wait!" Tenten called out to her
"Just think it over naruto she's been back for a while now and we can't keep avoiding her" she said before chasing after Ino.
"Hmph" some friends they are...

I thought it over for a while before going to get advice at shikamarus place.
I explained what I had heard as Choji ate his chips and shikamaru gave partial attention.
"Well why don't you do it? You and Sakura have always been close I'm sure she'd want to hear it sooner rather than later" shikamaru said skimming a magazine
