Chapter 6

I stared into the mirror at my new eye. My right eye was now bright silver. The same eye color as Stone's clan eye color was. If Henry sees this he will ask too many questions. Also may try to kill Stone. Either way, it may possibly end badly.

The edges of the eye looked like pure gold. While the inside was silver. It was truly breathtaking. There was no scar on my face. Ever sense I was given that antidote. I didn't feel sick or hurt. It felt like I was reborn.

I exited the bathroom and walked to my bedroom.

Stone and Doll drove me back home. It was nice of them. But I kept on sunglasses so my family wouldn't see the new eye color. I don't want so much questions bombarded on me.

It was already night time. Isabelle was worried when the principle called her that I disappeared in the middle of the day. Once she saw me she asked me in fury. Gladly she didn't tell dad. I would be in deep trouble.

I take off my day shirt and jeans. Too tired to change into pajamas. I just remained in my underwear and bra.

Falling on my bed. I closed my eyes and tried to relax. Trying to forget what happened today. But it was like trying to forget that you lost your favorite puppy. And you were crying for days and days.

A rush of air ran across the room. The sound of the window opening rung in my ear.

Crap. . .

"Hi Henry." I said without looking who was in my room. Only two people come into my room. And it has to be Henry. I put on my glasses and make sure my eyes were covered with my bangs. But it was no use. He would see them anyway.

Sitting up, I look up at Henry. Seeing how guilty and sorry he looked. "Listen, I'm really sorry. I never meant to do that earlier!" He then wrapped his arms around me. I didn't move as he wrapped his arms around me. I just let him continue embracing me.

"It's okay. I know you didn't mean too. You were just angry."

Henry backed away to look at me. A smile on his face. But it faded when he caught sight of my eye. His eyes then grew wide. "What happened?" Henry asked. He brushes the hair away from my eyes. Then took off my glasses. Staring into my new eye color.

"I was attacked. Doll healed me but I ended up with this new eye color."

The look in Henry's eyes didn't seem too happy. But he just nodded. Wrapping his arms tightly around me. He sat down on my bed. Keeping me close to his arms. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you." Henry whispered before kissing my forehead. "I failed to protect my wife."

I didn't want him to feel bad. I picked up his drooping head. And kissed him.

Henry laid me against the bed. Continuing on kissing me deeply. I couldn't help but moan between our lips. His hands suddenly squeezed my sides. Making me gasp in shock. But I knew he wasn't going to do anything. He wouldn't dare.

Now laying down next to me. Henry wrapped his arms around my waist. Pulling me close to his chest. I felt his smooth heartbeat against my back. The rhythm felt so nice. I could fall asleep from it. . .again.

"Promise me you'll be by my side?" Henry asked. His hand reached for mine. Wrapping his fingers around mine. His bigger hand felt nice in mine. I turned my head to look at him. A smile on my face.

"I promise."

Henry smiled warmly at my answer. Then he gave me a sweet kiss on the lips. Keeping me close to him.

"My lovely wife." Henry whispered in my ear before I fell asleep. A smile was plastered on my face as I let the dreams take over me. Knowing that I was safe in my husband's arms.
