Chapter 38

A/N: The past few days has been really bad for me...but today is a better day because...

Jade's POV

It has been three days since we left Shields but I missed my family already, and that obviously includes Debbie. We promised our mams we would be back at winter break, aka during my birthday, which was only months away so I guessed the wait was not that long. I am really looking forwards to meet Perrie's family and get to know them, and let mines to meet hers. Not only on the coming break, but in every single holiday or just a causal family gathering, I could get used to that.

We didn't have work the next few days as we were going to start our worldwide promo afterwards, that's why we have been working our asses off today and I am glad we could finally take some rest in between our hectic schedule.

"Finally" I whined when we finally back to our apartment, Perrie chuckled and opened the front door, letting me in.

I fell onto the couch with my face landing on the soft surface, feeling drowsy already. I felt my feet being lifted and placed on her lap instead. Soft fingers started stroking my calf gently and I could feel myself drifting off anytime soon.

"Jadey?" Perrie mumbled before I lost my consciousness, her hand now stroking my hair

"Yes Pez?"

"Lee-Lee and Jes asked if we want to go to the club tonight?"

"I am too tired to go" I murmured

"Okay I will just tell them we will pass this time" I turned around to face her, grabbing her pale arm to stop her from typing, she looked at me confusedly.

"You can join them babe"

"But you are not goin-"

"You don't have to stay with me"

"But I don't want to go without you" She frowned

"You have the girls I am sure you are going to have fun. Honestly we haven't been spending much time with them besides work, I already feel bad not going so I don't want you to do the same babe. Also, if you stay, you would just have to watch me sleep which I don't think it's the more entertaining thing to do. It's even worse than you watch me burying my face into a book I am sure." I giggled, feeling more conscious now.

"You know I don't mind right? You are so cute when you sleep and when did I ever say I hate watching you read? You know I love to watch how focused you are and how your face changed when the story goes. And don't you know how hot you look in those glasses...Gosh I would do anything to see you in it!" She grinned

"Ugh you are so creepy! And me wearing glasses is definitely not hot, it's nerdy" I protested

"A hot nerd. MY hot nerd" She winked at me, while her fingers teasingly running up and down on my bare thigh, feeling goosebumps all over the skin she just touched. I laughed and pushed her hand away, making her pouted.

"I am tired baby. Now if you go and let me sleep, I might have the energy to do what you want when you come back " I purred

"DEAL" She exclaimed. I squealed when she got up from the couch, lifting me up and held me in bridal style

"I have to put my princess to bed safely before I go right?" She grinned. I wrapped my arms around her neck and leaned in to peck her lips, letting her carry me to my bedroom. She tucked me into bed and pressed a kiss on my forehead, before pulling away.
