Perrie's POV
After dinner and the Lesy drama which finally ended when the diva got her money back , we decided to call our moms to tell them the good news, even though it would be announced later tonight anyway, we want them to hear it first. We put our phones on speaker so they could all hear us at the same time. We greeted them and they were surprised to not only hear our voices, but also each other's through the line, they knew us well enough to know something must be up when we gathered them together, and Leigh obviously couldn't bite her tongue anymore.
"WE GOT OUR NUMBER 1 ALBUM!!!" She yelled at the top of her lung, I groaned and covered my precious ears. I understood her excitement but this girl was seriously making me deaf
We heard a bunch of 'Oh my god', 'I am so proud' and some high-pitch screaming from our moms. When they began to calm down, I glanced at Jade and she gave me a knowingly nod. We would like to tell them the other news too, I am sure Leigh and Jesy's moms already known about us because there is no secret between MamaMix just like us four.
"Mom we have another news. It's about me and Jade" I grinned brightly, couldn't contain my exhilaration to reveal it to my mom
"What's that pet?" My mom asked
"Jade?" Norma also sound curious
"After the promo, when our winter break started..." I started
"ME AND PERRIE CAN TELL THE PUBLIC ABOUT US!" Jade screamed elatedly. I frowned when the phones all went completely silent, but then I could start to hear some sobbing on the line.
"You okay mom?" I asked worriedly
"I am brilliant! I-I am just so happy for you! Finally I could show my daughter-in law to the world and-"
"Mom we are not getting married now!" I scolded but I couldn't hide my grin when the corner of my eyes caught the flushed cheek and bashful smile on the adorable brunette's face. One day baba.
"Well my wonderful future daughter-in law then. Perrie I will kick your ass if you don't put a ring on her soon!"
Whose mom would say those words when clearly her daughter's girlfriend and mom were listening? Mine. And if it was not abashing enough, Lesy being the sabotages they always were, kept singing the chorus of 'Single Ladies'. Gosh someone digs me a hole!
"Mom can we not talk about it here? You are making Jade embarrassed and Norma is here too so-"
"Don't worry about it Perrie. I give you my blessing to marry Jade" Norma interrupted me
"MAM!" Jade squealed. I am sure our cheeks are matching red right now, Leigh and Jesy are the same but it was because they are laughing their asses off.
"What Jade? Aren't you gonna say 'Yes' when Perrie proposed?"
"Of course I will! But we are not getting married right now mam! We just called to tell you we can make it official soon, we are not going to get married now to shock them even more" Jade clarified quickly and I certainly didn't miss the first but most important part. I chuckled and kissed her cheek
"That's a great way to break the news you know?" My mom teased
"Oh my god mom you need to stopppp!" I groaned
"I think that's enough Norma and Deb" Jesy's mum interrupt
"Thank you" I sighed in relief as there is finally someone came to rescue poor me and Jade.
