Chapter 26

*Cece's P.O.V*

"Daniel!" I screamed "get in here and help me!". He then came rushing in with the pack doctor.
"I'm here, you're gonna be okay" he tried to soothe me with calming words.

Currently I was bent over in pain. Why? I had gone into labour. No one prepared me for the amount of pain I was going to feel, but no one could, I'm the first Moon Goddess to actually give birth. Everyone was tense and nervous about this because, well, no one had ever been friends with a Moon Goddess let alone seen one give birth.
I screamed out in pain as another contraction hit. I could tell Daniel was trying to hide his pain. Our bond is stronger than any other so he can feel my emotions and pain more than a regular mate bond.

*hours later*
This kid still didn't want to come out. I have no idea how long I've been in labour, but it feels like an eternity.

All of a sudden I felt the need to push.
"You're ready, push when you feel it coming!" The pack doctor said. I nodded and pushed as a wave of pain came over me. It felt like I was being ripped apart. I glared at Daniel.

"You're dead for putting me through this!" I yelled as I pushed again and screamed. He looked at me sheepishly and smiled. I was probably crushing his hand at the minute but I really didn't care.
I pushed again and the pain subsided a little.
"She's out!" The doctor said happily. I smiled and laid breathing heavily when another wave of pain came over me.

"If the baby's here why am I still in pain?!" I yelled at her.

"Because you're having twins!" She replied joyfully. I could feel Daniels joy at the announcement and he could feel mine although I was shocked, I didn't sense another child.
I screamed as I felt the need to push again. This one felt a lot worse than the others. My vision started to go blurry as my heart beat slowed a little. I was fading in and out of consciousness as I pushed once more.

"Cece! Cece can you hear me?! Cecelia!" I heard Daniel shouting as I tried so hard to keep my eyes open. I felt his worry and gave him a weak smile before darkness consumed me.

I woke up in what appeared to be a meadow. It looked very familiar but I couldn't pin point where from. I looked around studying the meadow trying to remember when I heard someone whispering my name.

I looked around.

No one was there.

The voice became clearer and I recognised it as my mothers. I turned around to find her stood in the same white dress as always.

"Mum!" I smiled and ran over to her hugging her as tight as possible. She returned the hug but broke it quickly. I looked into her eyes, and they held a lot of sadness.

"Mum what's wrong?" I ask her. She looks down then looks back up, years in her eyes.

"You can't stay with them" she said, her voice cracking. I knew exactly what she was on about, I couldn't raise my children. I knew the reason was because I had duties to fulfill but my babies were stopping me. I had to have my babies then leave them.

"No please, let me have some time with them" I sobbed, tears starting to fall. She shook her head.

"You can't, it isn't allowed, you have to give them to someone else, I've been looking and I found the perfect couple. They're an Alpha and Luna, but she's barren. You'll know where to go to find them, but you need to contact them. Their names are Margaret and Greg" she said smiling weakly. I nodded and hugged her again. I didn't want to give my babies up but it was for the best.
