Chapter 18

Have you ever felt like your life ended? I have. More than once. In fact, i feel like that right now. Like my life just ended and now I'm stuck in darkness.

I'm never going to see my sister, I'll never get to meet my nieces and nephews, I'll never get to be their favourite yet only auntie, and I'll never get to see my mate again.

Holy cow. William. How is he handling this? I hope he isn't in pain right now. Damn it, why did Andy have to come to Doncaster. I hate him so much! But then again, he wanted to avenge his mate because of what William's father did.

I screamed into the darkness. I hate my life. As I kept screaming, I heard something else. I stopped and listened to what it was.

"Charlotte?!?! Charlotte can you hear me?!?!" Williams voice echoed faintly around me.

"Will! Will I hear you!!" I shouted out but I don't think he could hear me.

"Charlotte! Come on wake up babe!" He shouted. It grew louder until it echoed all around me.

"Will!!" I shouted again.

"Char! Wake up! Open your eyes!" He shouted. It was really loud this time. I looked around and saw a light in the distance. I ran to it and before it closed I jumped through. Then my eyesight went white and back to black. I opened my eyes and covered them from the light. Eventually, my eyes adjusted and Will was stood over me along with a doctor and who looked like Will's sister or mum.

"Will" I said and sat up. He hugged me like his life depended on it.

"Char" He whispered. I smiled and looked around. There were a dotor and a nurse stood behind everyone and Will's sister and who I think is his mum and dad were there.

After a bit we broke apart and Will couldn't stop smiling at me.

"How long was I out?" I asked. His smile dropped. I could tell he didn't want to answer.

"About a month" The older looking Will said. I looked at him and smiled.

"A month? wow. I don't mean to be mean but, who are you?" I asked politely.

"I'm Will's father, Roy. This is his mother, Mavis and thats his sister, Kay" Roy introduced. Then Kay came up to me and hugged me. Will growled.

"Welcome to the family" Kay whispered in my ear ignoring Will's growls.

"Will shut up" Kay said letting go of me. I chuckled and Will looked at me right after I stopped.

"Will, calm down already, she was only saying hello" I said. He growled and his eyes flashed gold.

"His wolf is trying to take over, no matter who it is, don't touch me until hes calm" I said to everyone. They all nodded in understanding.

"But, why?" Kay asked.

"I just woke up from a one month coma, his wolf would have missed me and is being overprotective because of what happened" I said to her.

"What did happen anyway?" She asked.

"I can't say in front of Will. His wolf will take over then" I said. She nodded and shut up. I looked at Will and saw he was fighting his wolf for control.

"Will, calm down, its ok, no one is gonna hurt me no more" I said slowly to Will. He kept growling so I stood up and slowly walked towards him. He shut his eyes so I could tell he was struggling to keep his wolf under control. After a while, he opened his eyes again and they were gold.

"Will?" I asked. I had to pretend I didn't know what happened or I'll confuse his wolf.

"Guess again princess" His wolf said. I smiled.
