The Peacekeeper

Chapter 21

I paced around the living room thinking about Cece. How is this possible? She went about an hour before I woke up, and already Andy has her. Why? I don't know. What if he wanted more power and decided to kill Cece for it? What if he's just gonna keep her and make her a servant? What if...

I stopped pacing and gasped. He wouldn't, would he?

"Charlotte!" I heard in my ear. I screamed and jumped to the right and saw Will laughing.

"Whats so funny?" I asked. He tried to calm down but failed to do so and started laughing more. I decided to mess with him and made it look as though I was about to cry. That stopped him laughing.

"Kitten what's wrong? what did I do?" He asked worriedly. Aww, he does care, I thought. I ignored him and teleported myself into the woods. The good thing about teleporting is it doesn't leave a scent trail. I love teleporting, but sometimes I wish it left a scent trail. Guess he has to find me himself.

As I looked around where I was, I recognised it instantly. When I lived with my nan, she brought me round here and to a small cabin. Apparently its been in our family for years, it even has its own legend. Legend has it that the very first Moon Goddess built this place and only the Moon Goddesses or peacekeepers could see it. And their mates of course, but I don't think Daniel knows about it.

I decided to look for it and stay there until Will finds me so I started walking in the direction that it is. As I got close, I could smell a very familiar scent, there were more about five infact. As I looked at the cabin I growled. There were guards outside and I could smell Andy and Cece inside. I looked at the guards then smelt another scent getting close. It was Will but it didn't smell right. I looked around and saw Will walking towards me. He didn't seem right so I hid my scent and hid up in a tree. I went wide eyed when I saw his eyes. They were red instead of his normal colour (A/N i can't remember what colour I said his eyes were). I could tell he wasn't under a spell but this didn't seem right. Then I heard Andy come out of the cabin.

"Will, finally, do you have the girl?" Andy asked. What girl? Is he on about me?

"No, I don't, she teleported away and I can't find her anywhere" Will said. He is on about me! How could he? Then Andy growled.

"You need to find her and bring her to me! I can't do this unless I have them both!" Andy growled then hit him. I watched as Will fell to the floor, he wasn't unconsious, but he was in pain. When he turned I saw he had a black eye. I so wish he wasn't working for him otherwise I would have gone to help him. I sighed and decided to leave it so I teleported myself back to the pack house. I made myself invisble just in case it was the whole pack working for Andy. When I saw some of the pack members with normal eye colour I relaxed. So it's just my mate then. I made myself visible again and walked around the pack house. I decided to go to our-Will's room- and started to pack some stuff up.

When I got some stuff packed I hid it in a secret hole in the walk-in wardrobe. I decided to get changed so it looked like that was what I did. I heard Will walk in so I walked out of the wardrobe. I smiled at him and sat on the bed, ignoring the black eye. Will sat next to me and looked at me. I saw his eyes flicker red and knew he was going to tell me.

"Char, listen-" He started but I cut him off.

"I already know" I said standing up. He looked at me suprised, then his eyes kept flickering red and back to normal.

"You already know what" He growled at me. I sighed.

"Will, you know you can't keep secrets from me, I will find out. But this, this is the worst you've kept from me! I mean, come on! we're mates! we should never keep things from each other! You should have said sooner that you were working for Andy!" I yelled at him. This was usually bad for me, my mum always used to call it an 'emotion overflow'. Its when my emotions got too much for me and I'd just let it all out, literally, if I'm angry, like now, things would start floating around me and my hair would go crazy. If I'm sad, then the room I was in would start filling up with water. That is the only problem with my powers, my emotions.

As I looked at Will, I noticed the book on the table next to the balcony door raise up. I ignored it and looked at Will. His eyes kept flickering as he processed what I just said. I could tell by now that my eyes were either black or red from the anger. As he looked at me his emotions went from, suprised, to anger, to shock. There was obviously something floating behind my head and my hair was probably starting to go crazy. He stood up and I watched as he slowly walked towards me.

"Look Char, I didn't have a choice ok! He's my dad! I used to hate him but eventually I had to live with him until I took over the pack! I know it sounds wierd but yes, my dad was Alpha. I had to lie to you about him being dead, but I had to! I had no choice!" He said to me. I didn't listen to it all, probably because I was half blinded by anger.

"You lied to me! How could you?! Mates never lie to each other! When have I ever lied to you?!" I yelled at him. He looked down, now sad.

"You've never lied" He said.

"Exactly! I never lie to you! This is the worst lie I've ever known!" I yelled at him. I looked around the room and saw almost everything floating. This is bad, I thought as my vision started to turned black. This means that the evil side of me is taking over (A/N, yeah forgot to mention, Charlotte has a dad n he's evil, Cece doesn't). The last thing I heard was

"You better run Will, run for your life" Then my vision went black as my evil side took over completely.

Hey guys, so so so so sorry I haven't updated in like 3 weeks, but its the usual, school and writer's block. The writer's block I get is big, so...yeah, plus, school, I get homework, which I really cba to do. It might be a while until I next update this book since I'm busy. Oh, and before I forget, I'm thinking of starting another book but I don't know what about so I thought I could turn to you guys for help. Must be werewolf, not one of them where the girl gets abused and runs away, they are the most common werewolf books ever. So, if you have any ideas, tell me in the comments below!
