The Peacekeeper

Chapter 17

"What? Already?" William said more to himself. I looked at him then unlocked the door. Everyone was stood there looking at us. I didn't waste any time so I walked outside to see about 200 demons. I could tell everyone followed me.

"William how many wovles are in your pack" I said turning to Will.

"Were only small, 150. We're one of the smallest" He said. I sighed and turned round to face the demons.

"You can not attack this pack for they are under the Moon Goddess' protection" I said to the demons. Some of them looked shocked. Then one stepped forward.

"How would you know who the Moon Goddess is protecting? You're a human" He said.

"Because the Moon Goddess is my sister" I said so everyone could hear. Then I shifted into my peacekeeper form. Once I finished, gasps were heard from all around. Like always, the males went on one knee and bowed and the females curtseyed and stayed in that position. I sighed.

"Arise, All of you" I said. Everyone stood up again and looked at me.

"Now, demons, you are to go home and never even attempt to attack this pack, or any pack for that matter" I said to the demons. They all nodded and walked away back to where ever they live. Then I turned to the wolves.

"You can live in peace and never fear an attack from anyone, beacuse as I said, you are under the my sister's protection. And my mate's" I said whispering the last part and looking at William. Some people heard me and gasped. They looked at William then at me before smiling at me.

I looked at William and smiled at him. Even though he rejected me and I accepted it, I can overrule the rejection since I'm the peacekeeper. As I broke the rejection, I watched William for a reaction. He looked at me shocked and I smiled.

"H-h-how did you..." He trailed off.

"I can overrule the rejection since I'm the peacekeeper and next in line for the Moon Goddess until my sister has a child" I said to him. Then one of William's pack members came stepped forward.

"Why did the Moon Goddess create a sister instead of creating herself a daughter" She said. At that the pain came back in my chest and William growled.

"She only recently became the Moon Goddess. My mum was killed by Andy, the vampire leader, over in Sheffield" I said, my voice cracking. William came and stood next to me. He wrapped an arm round my waist and the sparks I felt calmed me down.

"Go back to class, all of you" He told them with a slight command. Everyone went off back to class and left me and William.

"You ok?" He asked me. I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm ok. It's just too hard talking about my mum" I said to him. After a while of him talking to me, we went back inside and continued school.

"Hey, Charlotte" William said catching up to me. I turned round to him.

"Whats up" I said.

"I was wondering, since we met, it's gonna be hard for us to sleep, so..." He trailed off. I sighed.

"William, I'm the peacekeeper, I don't have to sleep if I don't want to" I said. Then he sighed.

"Ok, well it's gonna be hard for me then. Please" He said. I stopped and turned to look at him. As I was about to speak, someone came running up to us.

"Will!! Baby!" She screamed out. She dressed just like Brittany, only this one had ginger hair and green eyes. She was short too, but not that short, about 5' 7. When she got to us she clung on to his arm  and gave me a dirty look.
