Ugh, I moaned as the alarm on my phone went off. I don't start school today; I start tomorrow but might as well start getting up early. I reached out and grabbed my phone, turning the alarm off. Once my blurry eyesight cleared, I noticed I had a message from Kat, one from Shannon, and one from another best friend of mine, whom I met in Manchester, his name is George and he's gay. I opened the message from Kat.

'Get your butt out of bed! We're downstairs' Then I heard chattering downstairs. I sighed and opened the message from Shannon.

'Morning Cece! Are you even awake yet? You know, if you're starting school soon, you have to get up earlier than this!' I moaned, I'm so not a morning person. Well, I can be at times, like Christmas. I decided to open the message from George.

'Cece!! Why didn't you text me when you got to London?? That was what? 2 years ago? Text me more Cece!! Oh, and I have exciting news so come to Manchester someday!!' I moaned again. I completely forgot to message him. I could still hear the chatter downstairs.

'Shut up!! trying to sleep here!' I sent it to Kat. It was too early to be shouting.

'I'm awake now. How earlier? I start school tomorrow' I sent to Shannon.

'I'm so sorry George!! I will text you more and come visit you soon!!' I sent to George. I got a reply from all 3 of them at once, Kat's being shouted up to me.

"Get up Cece!!" she shouted.

'You're supposed to get up at 7 not at 9 Cece' Shannon.

'good!! It's been quiet without you around!' George.

I got up and went to the bathroom. I undressed and got in the shower. Once I was clean, I stepped out, wrapped the towel around me and went to my walk-in closet. I picked out my blue underwear set and then I picked out my skinny jeans, a black vest top, my kimono jacket, and my blue ankle-high Converse shoes. Once I was dressed, I went downstairs to see Kat and the family. Her family consisted of her mum Donna, her dad Dave, and her brother Blaze.

Since I don't have family, I consider my best friend's family my family, so technically, I have more than one family. And they're all over England. Thinking of it, I need to go see them all.

As soon as I got downstairs, I was tackled to the ground by Kat. I could see her family behind her laughing at us.

"Kat, let go, you saw me yesterday" I told her. She obeyed and helped me stand up. Then she hugged me again, just harder this time.

"Kat...can't...breathe" I managed to get out.

"Oh sorry" She said.

"Hey Donna, Dave, Blaze" I greeted Kat's family.

"Hi Cece" They all said together. I laughed and went into the kitchen and opened the fridge to see it was empty. I really need to go shopping, I thought as I closed my fridge. I turned around to face Kat and her family.

"Have you already eaten? I have no food, we might as well go hunting" I told them all. In an instant all their fangs came out. I released my vampire smiling and let her take over.

2 hours later, we arrived back at the house. As soon as I stepped inside, I had a bad feeling. I got down and put my hand on the floor to see if anyone was there. That was a good thing about my powers. I could locate anyone I wanted. I could feel Kat, Donna, Dave and Blaze, and there was someone else upstairs who I didn't know. I stood back up and turned to face Kat, I could tell she had that bad feeling too.
