I wake up to music blasting. "Mon cut that down!" I yell.

The music continues. I get up out of bed and go to his room but his door is lock. "Mon cut that down!" I stand there for a few seconds banging on the door.

I go down the stairs to Dom office. He's always in here. "Why is Mon music so loud?"

"He probably fucking."

I suck my teeth, "This early?.. Since I'm up can I go to the park today?"

"Asia can't you see I'm busy?"

"Okay and I'll be out your hair if you let me go to the park."

"Man whatever. Don't let no reports get back to me. You know I got eyes and ears everywhere."

"Yeah named Tyler." I mumble. "What was that?"

"Nothing." I go to my room and pick out something to wear. I text my best friend Alisha to see if she's back from her grandmothers. She texts me back right away. She's home. I tell her to meet me at the park in 30 minutes.

"Girl I'm so glad you're back!" I squeal hugging her. "Me too!"

"I was so tired of hanging with Rasheda triffling ass."

Alisha rolls her eyes, "Girl I know you were. I still don't like her."

"I know."

"Anyway I'm surprised Dom let you out like that."

"Girl stop. He would snatch my ass up so fast if he saw me. I had my shirt untied until I got closer to here."

"It's cute. What was up with the guy who got shot the other day?"

"Girl he was disrespectful as hell. He spit on me! Dom let him have it and busted his lip and that nigga spit on me."

"Ewww!"

"Exactly. You know how my brothers do. Really our brothers do cuz Dre would've been right there with them."

"Girl they don't play at all."

We sit down at the raggedy bleachers while some guys played ball. "So what's up with you and Julian?" I ask about her boo. "I tried to sneak him inside my grandma house and girl Dre caught me. It was so embarrassing!"

"Girl! What he say?"

"He cussed me out and literally threw Ju out the house. Like he was ready to fight me for doing that and kill Ju for trying that shit."

"Oh my God. It's annoying as hell having over protective brothers."

"It is. You got worse though two of them."

"Girl we might as well have the same just three big brothers who won't let us do shit while they can do whatever they want when they want. Dom and Mon do be trippin'. You'd think I was ten years old or some shit. Then Rasheda love that shit man. I swear I try to be cool with shit but she be pushing it."

"Call me when you tryna beat her ass. I need to get a hit in." We both laugh. Alisha is my very best friend, like my sister. We've gotten into so much growing up and still remained loyal to each other. We met at a young age since our brothers are like brothers to each other. This is my girl. I would kill someone over her and I know she'll do the same for me. I love Rasheda because she's my cousin but family will do your dirtier quicker than a friend.

In school Rasheda got with my ex Tay. Of course because of who my brothers were we had to keep it on the down low. Tay use to walk me to class, brought me breakfast every morning, let me wear his letterman jacket, all that cute shit. All of a sudden he broke up with me. Rasheda had everything to do with it and she slept with him right after we broke up.
