About the Author
Megan Happel has spent nearly her whole life in Michigan, surrounded by the Great Lakes, trees, and backwoods people. She always felt like a bit of an outcast, so instead of trying to blend in, she dove head first into her music. What started out as forced piano lessons at the age of six turned into so much more. At eight, she started to learn guitar. At ten she started to learn the bass guitar. At eleven she learned how to play drums. Now, at seventeen years old, Megan can play four instruments fairly fluently, and she's even taught herself how to sing.
In 2014, she was accepted into a music program called PJ Olsson's Rock Camp. It was the first time she'd really played or sang in front of people who weren't her friends and family. That final concert was a sold out show of 1100 people. She's been going back to Rock Camp every year since. It was this music program that helped Megan open up to people.
It wasn't until she became friends with Stevie Dausey (11th-adventurer) that she finally got into writing. She was prone to daydreaming, and Stevie introduced her to a website in which she could write those daydreams down. Stevie and Megan shared an online class period at their high school, and every week, they would have a Wattpad Wednesday instead of doing their work. This was the birth of their joined account meglvine.
Now she can't stop writing. She is afraid to count how many books she has started because that means she'll have to finish them all. She loves to write, but she also loves to see the love, anger, frustration, and elation her writing brings out of her readers. If it weren't for them, she wouldn't have gotten this far.
That is why she dedicates this book to all of you.
