Differences

Chapter 1

Lily-Rose's POV

I wake up super excited. Today I am starting school year nine. I sit up stretch, then run down stairs.

"Slow down on the stairs Lily" shouts my Mum.

I walk into the kitchen, and sit down and eat my breakfast.

"Okay have you cleaned your trainers?" asked mum
"Yes mum" I reply
"Okay go and get changed then your grandad will be here to pick you up."
I smile because I'm excited to go in my granddads new rolls Royce. It was for his job. He was a Chauffeur.

I walk back upstairs passing my dad. He smiles at me and I kiss his Cheek. I then walk into my room and sit down on my bed. I look at the clothes I got out the night before and put on the back of my chair. My cousins, geek t shirt that was still a couple of sizes to big. My blue Hoddie from a local shop, my denim shorts and finally my tights. I quickly got changed into my clothes then heard my dad call me downstairs. I ran down the stairs grabbed my lunch kissed my parents good bye. Then ran out of the house and into my granddads rolls Royce.

I arrived at my new school and looked around. It was ginormous. Now I just had to find where my form room was. I was in 9B and my form room is AC3. I turned around and saw a girl looking at me so I walked over to her and said

'Hi!' Happily.

'I'm Lily-Rose. I'm new here I'm in 9B. Could you tell me where the form room is, AC3 is please?' I ask the girl politely

'I'm in 9B.' She replied, rather unhappily but I just ignored it

'If you don't mine could show me where I'm going...' I say

'The Academics building. That's why it's AC. Room 3. That's why there's the number '3'.' The girl replies rather lazily but once again I ignore it.

'Oh... Okay thank you. What's your name?' I ask her hoping to start more of a conversation.

'Serena.' She replies back.

'Ok, hi! Do you want to be friends?' I say

'The Academic building is the one right in front of you.' She replies back again, then walks off in a different direction. Okay well this isn't exactly how I planned my first day but I still didn't understand where I was supposed to be going so I ran after Serena saying.

"You know you can just call me lily. That's what my parents call me instead of my hole name lily-Rose. You see the reason why it's double barrelled is because my parents liked both of the names so they decided to double barrel it. But still just call me Lily." I say back to Serena. Let's just hope I can at least make one friend today.
