Serena's POV

'No clue.'

I had asked The Doctor where we were going now.

That response didn't scare me, it didn't make me panic - instead, I felt a rush of thrill and excitement.

The engines of the TARDIS were whirring again. 'Well, I'm just going to go over here...' Amy muttered, signalling with her eyes for me to follow her. Nobody else saw that gesture. I just disappeared into the shadows again - nobody questioned it, they knew I'd appear in a minute - and went around to talk to Amy.

We stood out of earshot of the other three. They hadn't even noticed that I had left - but, then again, why would they?

'So, you want to suggest that I make friends with your kid, and just because I didn't learn her name, I'm clearly not the first person she wants to be friends with, but I could at least try. Well, the only reason I didn't bother with her name is because I generally don't remember the names of the people who follow me up to the music room before school, or who try to be friends with me, because nobody ever has before. It's am automatic reflex - I automatically repel people. I didn't notice that she sincerely wanted to be friends with me. Don't look so surprised - twelve years old and I've never had a friend? Well, I can read you like a book. And I can read everyone like a book. You waited for The Doctor for years, you never gave up your faith in him. And you ran off with him, you travelled through space and time, and you came back for Rory. You're an only child, and you have a secret tattoo on your left shoulder that nobody knows about - well, nobody but me. So, do you still want to know why I've never had any friends?'

'Maybe if you made a bit of an effort, I'm sure she'd be willing to, too. Go on, what's the worst that can happen?'

'People don't befriend me. It doesn't happen.'

'Im sure she would.'

'Look at me.' I said simply.

'What about you?'

'Come on. I'm a kid, and I have this hair.' I held up a strand of my multi-coloured hair. 'I mainly listen to rock music, and I wear clothes like these.' I indicated to my 30 Seconds To Mars t-shirt, leather jacket, skinny jeans and leather boots. 'Plus, I can tell you the life story of anybody you want with one look.'

'So?' Was all Amy said.

After a few moments of silence between us passed before Amy spoke again. 'Just try to be her friend.'

'How am I supposed to do that, when one of the most important things to her is her name, and I don't even know it?'

'Lily Rose.' Was all Amy said, was all Amy needed to say, before we went back to join The Doctor, Rory and Newbie.

Lily, I corrected myself.

'Where are we now?' Rory asked.

'Still no clue.' Replied the Doctor.

'Only one way to find out.' I marched up to the door and opened it.

I stepped out of the TARDIS door, and was greeted by about five statues of angels.
