Chapter 5

(Lily-Rose's POV)

Okay so for two weeks I tried to be Serena's friend. But guess what. She hasn't said anything to me an when I try she just turns her back on me. Anyway, today I'm going to her house so that we can do some science project thing-ma-bob. She says F off and she's all like I don't have friends.

So last lesson was . We just sat there and learned some stuff. Then finally it was time to go. I got my phone from my bag and put my headphones in and pressed play. Of the night by Bastille. I really like Bastille. Anyway we walked out together and got into a taxi. I then felt bad so I said.

"Do you want to listen? it's not anything stupid it's Bastille" I say

"No" she replies back blandly. I hope her parents are better at least.

"And by the way my da and John aren't gay, before you ask they just work together and live in the same house, because they both pay okay?" she asks.

I sitting there looking out the window with my music playing. Finally the taxi starts to slow down. We jump out in front of a house, 221b, to be precise. We walked up to the house, and Serena opened the door. We then walked up a flight of stairs and into what looked like a living room. But was quite hard to distinguish from all the paper work. There were two men sitting in the room. One that looked like he could be in his late thirties, early forties, he was reading a paper, and the other man looked younger I'd say early thirties, he was on his computer.

"Dad were home" says Serena. The one on the computer looks up. Oh so this is her dad. I wave a hello to him. He just sits there looks at me and says

"You have two siblings... an older sister and a younger brother. Your father is a doctor, and your mother works from home. You have a secret... And your parents know so it wouldn't be who you love it still it's something very unpredictable no one knows but it's the reason why you have been to loads of different schools." He says. Then looks at me waiting for my reply so I just say

"Was that supposed to impress me?" the other man laughs slightly from behind his newspaper. But Serena's father just looks at me then goes back to his computer.

"Come with me were going to the hospital" Serena says

We walk into the kitchen to get a snack quickly. Serena tells me to look in the fridge. When I open it there's a severed head in the fridge. Wow. Is all I could think if thinking at that moment. We then walked back out the house and towards the pavement were Serena called over a taxi and we then headed towards the hospital.
