(Lily-Rose's POV)

So first lesson was English. This would be exciting, I've always liked English, well I also love science. To be honest I think I love science more and I know more than anybody about science. Anyway, so first lesson was English. We went into the classroom and the desks were laid out in rows, and it was two per desk. I just hovered awkwardly at the door, and waited for the teacher to tell me where to sit.

"Will you please sit down over in the corner" he shouted. "Ooo touchy" I muttered then smirked. I walked over to the desk which Serena was sitting at, whilst a lot of the other people were laughing. Serena on the other didn't find my joke funny, neither did she look pleased to be sitting next to me.

"Okay we are going to recite a poem this morning" sir said. Everyone laughed and some people sighed. We were reciting the poem daffodils.

Daffodils

I wander'd lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils,
Beside the lake, beneath the trees
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretch'd in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced, but they

Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: -
A poet could not but be gay
In such a jocund company!
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought.

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills
And dances with the daffodils.

During the course of this poem sir did some weird actions and at one point when he was a 'dancing daffodil' doing some weird hand movement, some of the boys shouted out Michael Jackson dancing instead of the correct verse.

After this we were given a play book, Twopence to cross the Mersey. Then we were put into groups. I was in group one with, two girls and a boy. There names were Olivia, Joe and Hannah. I remember Olivia and Hannah from this morning in form. These people actually TRIED to be my friend. But as I've never been to a school for more than two terms I knew who I wanted to hang out with and who I didn't want to hang out with. I look around and see Serena. She is sitting there staring off into space whilst her group 'act' around her.

Whilst they others are reading I get bored so I stand up and walk around for awhile. Sir looks up from his computer and shouts at me

"Sit down now or I'll put you in detention."

"But sir I haven't done anything wrong and it's my first day" I reply back

"I don't care if it's your first day now sit down or I'll give you a detention." He shouts back at me

"But sir.."

"Twenty to two on the field second break wait for me by the gate, you will see Arun and Felix already there waiting so wait with them until I come along. If your late you will get an hour after school." he shouts back at me.

Wow I just got a detention on my first day of school. I see a couple of the others laughing.

"Okay will you all now, go back to your own seats and pack up please." Sir shouts. We all walk back to our places shoving and pushing each other, out of the way so that we can get to our seats. I quickly grab m rucksack put my pencil case, planner, English book and ruler into my bag and stand ready waiting to go to our next lesson. Which was if I can remember geography. Boring. We are then finally dismissed.
