Serena's POV

'So, now that I'm done with my tech-porn,' I said,h, what's this then?'Finally, something that could be slightly interesting.

The whole planet was very misty. It was the first thin that struck you when you laid your eyes onto the silvery surface. But the corners of this room - the corners of this room were not engulfed in dust.

Slithers of wires curled around each other, burning with heat and energy, the fire from the electricity giving off smoke.

The electricity was to keep us from somewhere, or something.

'Because the electricity that burned through these wires was the same as the electricity that had once powered the Cybermen in the room below.'

I didn't realise I had spoken these words until they had already fallen from my mouth. I turned to face the others again, and said, 'Its electricity, and smoke, not mist,' I explained, before turning around again.

The others were talking behind me - I was vaguely aware of the sound of voices discussing what the Cybermen could possibly need the power for; recharging each robot, providing a power source, things like that.

They were thinking in a way that was too closed-minded, and incorrect. Like most human beings did, right before they told me to piss off.

They didn't need a power source.

Well, it was a power source - in a way.

They were discussing the theory of a core for the entire universe, based on a very strong electrical charge, when I interrupted, saying, 'You said that the Cybermen were, or are, constantly upgrading their systems. Becoming more powerful, more technologically advanced. Well, in order to complete the process of upgrading a Cyberman, one of the first generations of Cybermen, in fact, they had taken charges from each of the generations of Cyberman and forced the electrical charges into for towers of tubes, right here in this room. The wires, metals and the forces of the protons and neutrons in these intertwining cords -' my finger hovered over two of the wires in the pillar of electricity in the corner I was standing nearest, without touching it, '- are identical to that of the Cybermen downstairs. These wires -' I indicated to about five wires that stood straight and parallel to each other, behind the two wires from the first generation of Cybermen, '- seem stronger, and contain technology used to create lasers and fires. So, I assume, from the second or third generation.'

'So, what're you saying?' Said The Doctor, but I knew he already knew.

'It seems to me as though the Cybermen are trying to create their greatest upgrade yet.' I said, deadly serious.

'And how do we stop it?' Said River.

'Reverse the charges and implode the planet.' I replied.
