Chapter 34

Min Yoongi's POV

I wonder where's my last girlfriend now. I hope she's okay even though she ditched me. I hope that her new man is treating her like a queen.

Not gonna lie but I really miss her: I miss her scent, her hair, her kisses and her hugs. And how she changed all of those to; her last goodbye. She didn't know how my smile vanished when she left me.

I needed her like she needed me. I swear by the time I'm cured.. I will find her and hug her tightly, maybe ask her if we could be still friends.

"Hi Jiyeon, you came back early." said Namjoon. Jiyeon smiled weakly at him and to us. There's something wrong with her smile, it's not the smile she always use to.

"Just kiss her! Oh don't do that! Ugh! You filthy man! How could you!" screamed Taehyung at the television. His feet stomping in frustration. I laughed at his sudden movement.

"Er — boys? Have you ever known about a woman that is missing?" asked Jiyeon, looking disappointed.

"No." We all said together.

Jiyeon frowned and nodded at the same time. I wrinkled my nose at her question.

"That's a random question." I said. Jiyeon ignored me.

"Taehyung, can we watch the news, perhaps?" asked Jiyeon politely and Taehyung switched it to the news channel.

"Jiyeon, what's wrong? You look worried and a bit mad since your ears are scarlet." asked Hoseok, examining Jiyeon's face.

Jiyeon flinched at the touch of Hoseok on her ears, "A bit argument with my best friend." said Jiyeon.

I felt a sudden guilt at myself. I kind of betrayed my ex girlfriend for kissing Jiyeon straight in the lips.

"Ugh, everything went quiet since they left." complained Taehyung.

"Taehyung shh!" bellowed Jiyeon, putting a finger on her lips. Taehyung stopped talking immediately with wide eyes.

"...And a very very very hot news from Jennie, Jennie?" the news reporter from the studio said.

"...Ah, well it's a very very sad news, the woman that was missing for months has been found dead at the abandoned store next the school campus, students and residents complained that there was a foul smell at the abandoned store."

"...The police were so thankful for the woman who has witnessed this scene long time ago, she said that she was threatened by the suspect that she haven't reported it to the police urgently."

I shook my head, "What a jerk." I mumbled that I was the only one who heard it.

"...Police said that the victim was murdered, the corpse was there a long time ago that it was almost preserved but the police recognized her face as the missing woman, Gong Hyeon."

I gasped at the sudden sound of name. No. No.

Everyone looked at me with anxious faces, "Yoongi?"

"T-That.." I stammered, pointing a finger at the TV screen.

"T-That.. was.. my.. g-girlfriend.. last t-time.." I said, my voice shaking at the news I heard.

I dropped to my knees and cried my heart out. All of them circled around me and helped as I got up. Jiyeon is teary eyed for a reason then her phone rang.

Who is the suspect? I swear.. I'll kill him.
