Sung Jiyeon's POV"Don't ever hurt a girl especially JIYEON!" Jimin's famous sentence kept repeating on my mind.
I've always wanted to thank Jimin. He is always there when I need him.
I feel funny. I feel like the whole world is spinning. I can also feel my heart hammering against my chest. I felt that I'm about to doze off.
Next thing I knew is everything went pitch dark and felt someone held my back.
(Third Person's POV)
"Don't ever hurt a girl especially JIYEON!"
Memories.. Memories were reminding Jiyeon. Those happy memories with Jimin are circling around her thoughts. Lots of memories are visualizing.
~flashback~
"Give it back!" Jiyeon screamed on the top of her lungs while chasing her bag full of sweets flying back and forth.
"Catch it if you can! Short!" teased the boy who was throwing Jiyeon's bag in the air while some bullies were catching it and throwing it again like a ball.
The boy and his friends were cackling in laughter. Jiyeon really can't catch her bag, she was about to cry. She was bullied everyday. She was always crying secretly in her room.
Jiyeon nearly gave up. She sighed and cried. She heard the laughter fading away.
"Don't ever tease a girl like that!" A boy's voice said.
"Oh look! Another short one!" teased the bully who roared with laughter with his friends.
The short boy rose a fist and cast them a dangerous look, "Give it to me or else." he said menacingly.
The bullies exchanged glances and dropped the bag and ran away as fast as their fat legs can.
The short boy reached the bag and walked towards to Jiyeon. Jiyeon hesitated, thinking that the boy is also a bad one. But the boy smiled and gave her the bag.
"T-Thanks.." said Jiyeon who was having a hard time remembering the boy's name. Jiyeon didn't really talk to this boy when on class because usually he's spending his time with others.
"It's Jimin, Park Jimin." said Jimin who bowed. Jiyeon bowed back and said her name.
"We're neighbors." said Jiyeon, who was looking stunned.
"So.. best friends?" offered Jimin who was smiling widely at Jiyeon.
"Of course!" said Jiyeon. She gave a lollipop at Jimin.
(Back to Jiyeon's POV)
I opened my eyes slowly. I put a hand on my temple and massaged it gently. What happened last night? I muttered to myself.
I stared at the ceiling for a moment but someone came in my room holding a nice cup of tea.
"Good morning Jiyeon, still dizzy?" greeted Jin, beaming.
I straightened myself and leaned my back against the bed frame, "What happened last night?" I asked.
Jin raised his eyebrows, "Shouldn't I be the one who should ask?"
I opened my mouth but no words came out, Jin grinned broadly and sat beside me, giving me the nice cup of tea.
He chuckled, "You don't need to tell me anything." He paused for a second, "If you're still asking me what happened last night, well, you fainted." explained Jin.
"I fainted?!" I asked in disbelief and Jin nodded slowly.
"I didn't know the reasons why you fainted but I reckon it's because you were tired and sleepy." wondered Jin.
I sipped on my tea, "Yeah I think so, wait.. how about the others? Do they know about this?"
"They were all sleeping peacefully and it was just me sitting on the sofa waiting for you two but I went to the kitchen after hearing lots of bickering outside." explained Jin who was looking bewildered.
"Speaking of the witch" —Jin looked at me as if interested of what I'm going to say— "where is Jimin?"
"He's still sleeping." said Jin.
"Is he all right?" I asked worriedly and Jin nodded while smiling.
I was still dizzy, my heart is still hammering against my chest and my chest tightening that I can hardly breathe.
"On a completely related topic, can you tell me about Jimin and how you two met and ended up being childhood friends?" asked Jin, savoring the word childhood friends.
