Chapter 7

Btw, if you didn't already notice, we kinda stopped doing that thing where we sign off on the chapters lol

Maddie and Dallas finally arrive with a humongous stuffed unicorn. I'm not even gonna ask, I'll just take it up to my bedroom without questioning. I'm better off that way. Dallas is in pj's of course, and Maddie is all done up for the day, rocker style like me. Me and Maddie have always had a really cool relationship. She looks up to me, and I look up to her in a way also. She helps me stay humble.

"OMG Demi are those new Doc Martins?!?!"

She notices every little thing about fashion.....kinda like me. Haha.

"Yes, Maddie. Yes they are."

We had a full conversation about Paramore, and bought a bunch of band-t's off of Hot Topic's website (because I'll be mobbed if Max isn't with me in public), before we decided to order Papa Gino's.

"I WANT PINEAPPLE!!!!" Maddie practically screamed in my ear, considering I was sitting right next to her.

"Maddie....shut. the. hell. UP!" And here we go with Dallas.

"HEYY!!! (i needed to scream because they started arguing) We're getting one with cheese, and one with half pineapple and half pepperoni."

They seemed to agree pretty quickly. I think they got the memo that I made my decision when I picked up the phone to order before they gave me the okay.

When the pizza finally arrived we sat down on the couch and watched the ID channel together. It was actually a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be.

It's nice to catch up with them. I decided to tell them about what happened to Jen considering she will be home, I mean, she'll be back anytime now.

"Hey guys, I have something to tell you."

They both shot me a look.

"Nick cheated on Jen."

Before I could say anything else, they started going crazy.

"Okay okay calm down. You guys have to promise you won't bring it up when Jen gets here."

"Yeah we promise!" Maddie said.

"Wait, she's coming over?"

"Yes, Dallas. She doesn't have anywhere to go, and I'm not letting her go back to that dickhead."

"Yeah that's fine. I just can't imagine what she's feeling."

And in that moment I realized something. Something major. Jen was histerical. It seemed as if nothing could ever make her feel more pain than she did in that moment when she knocked on my door. But, I, of all people....made it go away.
