Broken - A divergent story

Chapter 4

I run to the bathroom and hear a voice call out my name from behind. Tears run down my face and I lock myself in a stall.
"Tris?" Chris says "Tris unlock this door."
"No" I shout
"okay" she crawls under the stall "Hunny what happened to you?"
"A-a boy" I start "I think he knocked me out and he was-"
"Peter" she says
"Wha-"
"That jackass" she say "Clean up and then your coming with me."

Chris leads me to the office and goes right into one of the teachers offices.
"yes your son peter has been bullying and sexually harassing my friend." she say
I smile she's amazing.
"Hey" the lady from yesterday shouts "Why aren't you in class? skipping school?"
"No I wa-"
"212... now"

When I got to 212 four was the only other person in it.
"Hey" he said
"Hi"
"Your here agin? Wasn't yesterday your first day?"
"Yeah?" I said "Why?"
"I don't know it's just kinda... surprising." he laughed

when the bell rang for lunch we both got up from our seats fast Tobias was sitting next to me so we bumped into each other
"Sorry" we both said as we bent down to get my stuff which lead to us bumping heads. eventually we just sat on the floor laughing.
"Do you wanna come and hang with my friends at lunch?" he asked
What is this middle school?
"Uh yeah sure" I laughed

When I got home from school I was so exhausted I just went strait to bed setting my alarm early so I could get up and do homework at like 2:00 which sounds stupid but I don't have much home work and it's 4:00 right now.
I get my pjs on and climb right into bed and once my head hits the pillow I'm out.

"Beatrice" a voice awakes me
I climb out of be to see who it is. But as soon as I open my door I know who it is. The smell of beer gives it away. Chuck (My 'Dad').
"Why is there no diner?"

"well?" he say
"I was tired" I whisper
"You were what?" he grabs me "Did I ask you how you were feeling? no. A man asked for dinner so you give me dinner."
He beats me.
"That's strike 2" he says
