Chapter 18

Chris's Pov

A few hours ago I got a call that tris had been in a horrible accident.
I got in my car and drive to the hospital as soon as I put the phone down.
When I arrived I saw a nervous looking Tobias pacing the room Muttering something.
I sat in a chair by where he was pacing. After about 45 minutes I wanted to scream at him because he is pacing was only putting me on edge.
"Will you knock it off already?"
"Sorry" he say next to me "This is my fault."
"No it's not." I said but he didn't hear me
"It's not your fault" I said a little longer but he was drowning himself in thoughts.
"Tobias Eaton you look at me right now." I yelled "This isn't your fault it's the schools fault and you know it."
"I shouldn't have let her go." he said as he ran his hands threw his hair.
Time passed and I soon found myself on the floor.
I could hear an argument over by the main desk. I looked over to see a man and a nurse fighting.
"JUST LET MY DAUGHTER OUT SHES FINE SHE DOSNT NEED CARE SHES A WORTHLESS PEICE OF SHIT." He was screaming
the nurse had been trying to be calm but gave up. "who is you daughter?"
"Beatrice Prior."
I saw Tobias get out of his chair I grabbed his arm I knew what he would do to him not that I didn't want him to.
"Sir you should know your daughter is very hurt... if she wakes up we expect memory loss."
An that's when I let go of Tobias's arm. He didn't mice forward I'm guess the shock had come over him too.
"Well then wake her up." he said in a normal tone
"If you would just wait I can go check-"
A woman came running to the nurse and said something I couldn't hear.
"Oh my god...." The nurse said "Sir come with me."
And the headed into the hospital. I looked over at Tobias who looked shocked and scarred I didn't know what to so I just grabbed his hand not for him but more for me. what had happened to Tris?
