Falling Backwards <3 (one direction fanfic)

chapter 15

When they met up at the airport they rushed to get their boarding passes so that they didn’t miss their flight, when they talked to the woman she said that their flight had been delayed, 2 full hours. Not sure what to do they decided to have lunch since they missed it and they didn’t want Kerry to faint.

“There is a Chipotle over there want to go get a burrito and walk around and look at the funny shops” Niall said. Which brought Kerry back to the time that they were meeting Niall’s brother Greg at the airport and his flight was delayed, so they looked around and they found a store that sold ninja grapples, trees, and squirrel sculptures, they had fun messing around with the items in the store.

“Hey why don’t we check out the travel shop I think I forgot some stuff at the hotel” Niall suggested

“Ok but only if you look at all the magazines with you in it with me” she said with a smile.

One and a half hours later Kerry suggested head towards the gate so they wouldn’t be late. Niall said that he would meet her there and grabbed a bunch of food; he quickly paid for them and hid them then ran to the gate. He made it just in time as they were boarding their flight. They got seated together but they were both exhausted. Kerry and Niall slept for almost the whole six and a half hours. When Niall woke up he found that Kerry was sleeping on his shoulder and he had, had his head his head on hers. Kerry slept the rest of the flight and Niall didn’t want to wake her up because she had, had a rough day and she needed her sleep if she was going to concur the issue of her mom. Niall was glad that he had made amends with Kerry, they had been friends since they were little and then dated for a year or so. Niall didn’t move a muscle the rest of the way to make sure that even the smallest movement didn’t wake her. After seeing her loose her step-dad at only age 10 he knew how much her mom meant to her even though they went through the tough time with her dad. Niall finally settled, put this head back and decided to watch the end of the movie playing, “Sleepless in Seattle”

As the plane finally landed Niall gently shook Kerry to wake her. She promptly shot up and slapped him.

“Oh I am so sorry” she apologized.

“Its fine I didn’t mean to scare you, but we just landed in Dublin” Niall told her.

“Oh great, sorry again, I just trained myself to do that, I don’t actually know why though” she smiled, but it soon faded as she remembered why they were there. After they grabbed their luggage they headed out and grabbed a rent a car. As Kerry started driving it started raining, and just like the movies Kerry's tears fell in time with the rain dripping down the window. After much crying Kerry could not see where she was driving and nearly ran them off the road. They decided to pull over and Niall started to drive instead. While he was driving Niall decided to call his mom and just tell her what was going on and that he was nearby. Niall's mom who had kept good friends with Kerry's mom through everything was devastated and decided to meet them at the hospital. A few minutes later they arrived at the hospital, Niall dropped Kerry out in front of the hospital and told her to just text him her room number while he parked the car and waited for his mom.
