chapter 13

“Hey guys” Niall yelled

“Oh hey guys what up?” Harry said

“nothing we were just grabbing some lunch then we were going to go to the statue of liberty” Louis said

“ Oh great we were heading there to mind if we join you two  lovely couples” Zayn teased but then Niall shot him a look “I mean friends and couple.” Zayn said recovering

“Yes that would be fine Right Louis?” Niall said

“Yeah, what do you think girls?” Louis asked. Kerry and Bridie looked at each other then Kerry said

“I think it would be fun, the more the merrier right, B” Kerry said

“Yup” said Bridie, but soon gave a look to Louis as to say we can split away from them right?

After waiting in the super long line they finally made it to the front they bought the tickets and made their way to an equally long line that luckily moved faster. They boarded the boat and the boys messed around almost throwing Liam into the water but luckily the staff stopped them first. The boat ride was not much different the boys fooled around and the girls did to but they were much better at hiding that they had done something bad. In the end Harry almost fell off the boat but luckily Lydia caught him before fell to far. By now you could tell the couples and friend couples apart. Louis and Bridie were defiantly a couple, and so were Harry and Lydia, Liam and Olivia were getting close but Liam was still being careful after the tough break up with Danielle. Sarah and Zayn were just friends just like Niall and Kerry. By the time they reached the island they were all in their basic couples. They decided to split and meet up in a couple hours. Niall and Kerry kept talking and as they were about to start a conversation about their past again Niall’s phone rang.

“Excuse me for a second, sorry” Niall said answering his phone.

“Yeah, take your time” Kerry said as she continued walking to give him privacy. She stopped and looked out over the edge and saw the beautiful sky line of New York City, she started to drift off into a day dream and saw her and Niall as a couple that day and in the future and saw them through the struggles in life together but so caught up in her day dream she did not notice the tears of longing streaming down her face.

“sorry I had to take that; it was Cara, Oh are you ok?” Niall said noticing the tears coming down her face.

“oh yeah sorry I was just daydreaming” Kerry tried to explain.

“Ok” Niall tried to understand

“so what did Cara have to say?” Kerry asked trying to change the topic but then noticed that she was being nosey.

“oh just calling to say hi and confirm that I am visiting her next week.” He said

“ok sounds good but it is getting late why don’t we head back to meet up with the group again” Kerry suggested
