Cara arrived at 3 o’clock as planned. Niall looked nervous as he entered the room with her.

“hi, I am Kerry” Kerry said standing up to shake hands.

“hi Kerry it is nice to meet you I am Cara but you probably already knew that” she said in a snotty voice.

“yeah so glad you two could meet, why don’t go to my house and settle down? You must have had a long day” Niall said nervously as he shooed Cara out the door.

“but I don’t want to go I want to stay and be with you” Cara said it in a pouty voice.

“ok fine but let’s go down to the food court” Niall said.

After Niall and Cara had left for the food court Kerry noticed that Cara had left her purse. Kerry decided not to touch it but a few minutes later her phone rang. Then Kerry decided to be nice and answer it for her, by the time she had gotten the phone out it had stepped ringing but she saw that she had a text message, being nosy she decided to see what it said. She was shocked the message had come from none other than Ryan Niall’s friend. Needing to know what he had said she opened the text. It read “I can’t wait to see you. I had a great time the other night hope you were not just a one night stand because you were amazing can’t wait to see you, Ryan” she was even more shocked now. As she put the phone back in the bag she thought. After reading Niall’s texts she knew they were “broken up” but that she would rebound so quickly with non-other than Niall’s best friend. Kerry decided not to interfere since she rained his and Ryan’s friendship. But when he came back from the Dublin in photo shoot and Niall’s texts said that he had made up with her and they were still together. She knew that she needed to interfere.

The next day, she spoke to Niall.

“Niall I need to talk to you about Cara and before you get mad and say that I am trying to get pay back. I ho have evidence.” Kerry told him “Cara cheated on you”

“what?” Niall said “you better have pretty solid evidence”

“I do” she said showing photos of the texts that she had sent to herself from Cara’s phone.

“how did you get this” Niall asked distressed.

“when you went to get food the first day her phone rang so I was going to answer it for her and be nice. But I didn’t get there in time but I did get there in time to see these texts that she had recently received and I didn’t want to tell you but I finally decided that it was the right thing to do.” She explained

“oh, so you snooped, you wanted me to break up with her so bad that you went through her private property” he said angrily.

“no, Niall, I was just trying to help” Kerry said

“well you have done a hell of a lot worse” Niall yelled

“sorry” Kerry said sheepishly

“I thought we could be friends, but apparently not” Niall said storming out of the room.

“no, Niall wait I didn’t mean for this to happen” Kerry said trying to get him to stay. Kerry started crying and speaking to her motionless mom.
