Tonight's the night of Wes's party and I'm dressed for the occasion. I have on a strapless black wrap dress that stops a little short of the knee and is like a second skin almost. I also have on three inch black stiletto heels as Wes had requested. I'd done my hair into loose ringlets that hung down my back, and I'd put on some light eye makeup.

Shayla was wearing a pair of jeans and a peach color tank top as she walked past me to let the boys in. "Hey aren't you going tonight?" I asked as she opened the door.

"Yeah why?" She laughed as she looked me up and down.

The boys came in and Drew tugged Shayla into a hug. "Don't you look nice." Wes smiled also looking me up and down.

"You said black dress and heels." I said spinning so he could see the whole package.

"Why'd?" Wes elbowed Keaton cutting him off.

"Lets get going!" Wes said louder than needed.

Wes and I rode on Wes's car, and Keaton, his girlfriend Mia, Shayla, and Drew drove in his. We got to the party downtown at a big venue at around eight. We all went in together. I noticed right away as we walked in that none of the other girls here had on dresses and if they did they were like sun dresses. I was ridiculously over dressed it seemed.

"Wes why'd you tell me to wear a black dress and heels if everyone else was wearing jeans?" I asked him.

He smirked. "I thought you'd look hot in a dress and heels."

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Dead serious, and I was right." He winked.

I shook my head and laughed. We talked to a few reporters and let them take pictures. Then we to a few drinks and started to dance. Wes put his hands on my hips as I swayed to the beat of the music. I wasn't drunk but I was defiantly feeling good. Wes an I were grinding when Shayla tapped my shoulder.

"Keaton and Drew need Wes to go get ready backstage." She said looking at Wes.

"I'll be back." He said letting his hands drop from my hips.

"They're singing?" I asked Shayla.

"Yeah, didn't Wes mention that?" She asked tilting her head.

"Nope." I shook my head as the boys too the stage.

"You two are starting lots of rumors you know?" She mumbled lowly.

"What's kind of rumors?" I laughed.

"Some people think it's fake since he's not as touchy feely as he was with Carly." She shrugged. "I'm just trying to help with your little game."

"It's not a game. I just don't want to make his fans mad by them finding out this is fake." I said. "I guess we'll just have to pretend better."

"Why're you dressed like this?" She almost laughed. "You look great but why?"

"Wes told me to wear a black dress and heels!" I groaned.

She bust out laughing as the lights dimmed even more than they already were. The boys started playing and singing. I knew they were talented obviously but I never thought they were that good. The sound of their music just makes me feel happy. It's like the sound of summertime. Shayla nudged me toward the stage after they finished their last song.

"Go pretend." She said covering it with an obnoxious cough.

I laughed and shoved her playfully then looked up and made eye contact with Wes. He smiled and jumped down from the stage in front of me. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him. He seemed confused but kissed me back. I pulled back just enough to speak. "Shayla said people aren't buying that we're a couple because you aren't acting like you did with Carly. If you want to keep this up, you need to step it up." I said feeling my lips brush against his as I spoke. The cameras were flashing around us.
