Desperate

Chapter 33

Wes's POV

The boys and I got done in New York a day early so were flew home ahead of schedule. I didn't tell Brianna because I want to surprise her. Drew called Shayla and told her to pick us up so she was driving us to our various destinations. She dropped Keats off at Mia's and then took me home. I waved after I got my bags and her and Drew headed back to their place.

I unlocked the door with my key and made my way quietly into the apartment. It was about nine in the morning so Bri was probably still in bed. I pushed the bedroom door open and saw my wife in one of my shirts cuddled against my pillow sleeping. A smile formed on my lips as I tiptoed over to the bed and carefully laid down next to her on my side.

She stirred a little when I pulled the pillow away from her, but then I pulled her into my arms and she cuddled right against me. "You're home early." She mumbled into my chest.

"I wanted to surprise you." I kissed her head.

"What time is it?" She yawned.

"It's about nine, you can just go back to sleep baby. I'll be here when you wake up." I told her hugging her tighter against my chest.

She nodded her head. As she drifted back off to sleep I played absentmindedly with her long hair. I smiled watching her sleep. I felt like I had the whole world at my finger tips right now. My music careers right on track, I'm married to the girl I love, and I can finally catch up on my sleep. Within minutes I was asleep with Brianna in my arms.

I was jolted awake to the sound of Brianna screaming. "Oh my god you're really here!"

My heart was racing and I looked at her to find her staring back at me. "Why wouldn't I be?" I asked confused.

"I thought I'd dreamt you came home early." She giggled then wrapped her arms around my neck in the bed pulling me closer to her.

"Nope I'm really here." I laughed hugging her.

"I've missed you so much!" She exclaimed rolling over and sitting up.

"I missed you too." I said lightly hitting her with a pillow.

She rolled her eyes and hit me back with her pillow. Before long we were in and all out pillow war. She was laughing really loud and I shushed her. "Then stop Wesley!" She sassed.

"I can't stop because that means you'd win, and I never lose." I argued.

"You wanna bet?" She smiled wickedly.

"Hell yeah!" I laughed dropping my pillow as she crawled over top of me letting her long hair dangle down into my face.

"I bet you can't make the neighbor call the cops." She purred dragging her hand down my chest.

"You're so bad!" I shook my head. "Lets do it." I added turning her over so she was under me.

Brianna's POV

I woke up much to my surprise with Wes next to me. After our little pillow fight and stuff I got up out of bed and went to make breakfast. He trailed behind me telling me about his trip as I successfully made pancakes without catching anything on fire.

"Good to know that old bat next door was just kidding about calling the police." Wes joked as he slid his empty plate into the dishwasher.

"Yeah, I'm glad she was, and by the way you lost the bet." I smiled.

"I didn't lose! I forfeited, and that's totally different." He smirked.

"It doesn't matter babe. You still lose." I laughed.

"No I defiantly won." He said actually looking serious.

"How so?" I asked placing my now empty plate with his.

He started the dishwasher and turned to face me. He pushed my hair back out of my eyes and smiled. "I won because I got you." He said.

My heart flipped in my chest. I love when he's sweet like this. I mean yeah I love arguing with him and messing around, but moments like this are what make him perfect. "Well then I guess it's a tie because I got you." I smiled looking up into his amazing eyes.

"I never thought I'd be so desperately in love with you." He said kissing my forehead sweetly.

"Me either, but I'm glad it happened. You're the best thing that's even happened to me." I said honestly.

"I love you Brianna."

"I love you too Wes." I answered, and I do love him, more than he'll ever imagine.

A/N: Well that's it. This story's over :( I actually really liked this one. Anyway though I think I'm going to write the sequel to my christmas story soon and probably the Drew story next. I might not update as often because I'm getting busy with graduation coming up, but I for sure am not quitting so just stick with me :) thanks so much for reading and I'll post the new stories soon <3
