"Brianna?" He asked in confusion.
"I'm so sorry Wes. I overreacted and I treated you like shit." I sobbed against his shoulder. "I never should have said those things to that reporter."
"Babe, it's alright. Calm down." He rubbed my back and rocked us side to side soothingly. "Shhh, it's okay."
"I'm so sorry." I said again.
"It's fine." He pulled back and wiped stray tears off my face. "I take it you watched the interview?"
I nodded. "I was wrong to just assume that more happened than it actually did. Carly told me today how it wasn't your fault."
"Carly?" He looked confused.
"Yeah we talked and it's all cool." I smiled nodding again.
"I meant what I said. I am in love with you." He said softly as he pulled the door to his apartment closed with us still on the outside. "I love that you get jealous when other girls look at me, and that when you get mad you bunch up your nose. I love that when we kiss I feel like the world stops spinning, and every time I think about you I get a huge smile on my face. I love everything about you Brianna, so please forgive me for not telling you I was going to meet Carly."
"You were already forgiven Wes." I smiled.
"So we're still together right?" He asked cocking his head sideways.
"We never broke up remember, because you refused to let it happen." I giggled.
He smiled. "Good because I'm going I kiss you now, and I hope that there's paparazzi hiding all around us because I want pictures in every magazine."
I laughed at his adorableness and he lowered his lips to mine pulling me flat against his chest. After everything I'd and put myself through the last few days Wesley's kiss still felt the same. Sparks flew under my skin and my stomach flipped in excitement. It was like every kiss was our first. I slid my fingers through his shaggy hair and he shook his head a little making me smile into the kiss. I was about to die from lack of oxygen when he pulled away with us both gasping for air.
"Don't ever leave me over something stupid." He said.
"Wes you'll be lucky if I ever leave you at all." I laughed.
He shook his head and kissed me again, but it was softer and more tender this time. He pulled back and I opened my eyes to find him already gazing into mine. "You smell like strawberries." He stated.
"And you smell like sunshine." I winked.
"What'd Carly say to you?" He asked.
"She was nice. She just explained that she was sorry and that she was happy you have me." I shrugged. "And she bought me Starbucks."
"Oh, the way to a girls heart is Starbucks." He laughed. "Do you want to come in?"
"I should go home. I didn't bother telling Shayla I was leaving so she'll get worried."
"Drew went to take her surfing so she's busy." Wes said locking his fingers with mine.
"I wish those two would just date already." I rolled my eyes.
"I wish you'd come inside already." Wes fake whined.
"You're such a baby." I smiled.
"But I'm your baby." He added a wink making me laugh.
We went inside quietly since Wes said Keaton was taking a nap. Wes drug me to his room and closed the door. He bounced onto the bed and pulled me down so I was cuddled next to him. He played with my hair as he told me how happy he is that I forgave him.
