"She's overreacting and it's all because she don't want things to change."

Kamryn looked over in her bed, only to see ruffled sheets where someone once laid. She cursed herself for oversleeping again. She'd really wanted to be a good girlfriend and make her boyfriend, Corey Coleman, breakfast this morning. Though, her selfish ass couldn't even get out of the damn bed.Deciding that cursing herself out wouldn't change anything, she hurriedly got dressed. Maybe somehow she didn't miss him. Maybe, he was in the kitchen waiting on her like he used to. She sped down the short hallway, nearly tripping over he bottom of her satin robe.
"Baby?" She called hopefully as she rounded the corner into the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'm right here." He answered.
"Oh my gosh," she exclaimed," I thought I missed you! Want me to cook you something before you go?"
Corey chuckled,"It's a little late for that, baby. I gotta go."
"Okay, when will you be back?" She questioned him.
"Umm," he thought."Hell, I don't know."
"Okay." She nodded understandingly. Corey had a strong chance of being signed. She had promised him she would try to understand his process. He had certain appearances to make and a crazy gym schedule. The hardest thing about it all was that he never included her in any of his plans.
Corey and Kamryn had been together since their freshman year of high school. Sure, they broke up countless numbers of times, just like any other high school couple. However, they managed to stick together at the end of it all. Kamryn was still in college, while Corey was in the process of getting signed to some football team. She didn't understand the process but Kamryn knew that it could bring big things for them. Through it all, she just tried to stay supportive. However, there were a couple things that bothered her.
Like always , Kamryn was left to fend for herself for the rest of the day. She was raised to be independent, but that didn't mean she couldn't want to be around her man sometime. It felt as if he never had time for her now. She could only imagine how it would be when he was actually on the team.
To Baby 😍🤤: I love you, baby. ❤️ Have a great day! I'll be home waiting for you 😏
Kamryn threw her phone on couch beside her and turned on the television. There was something on TMZ about some really live party last night. Before she could even get too much into it, her phone rang.
"Hey, bestie. What ya' doing today?" Kamryn's bestfriend, Rachel, asked from the other end.
Kamryn smiled at hearing her bestfriend's voice. "Girl, nothing. Corey left for the day, so I'm just chilling."
"Mm, being a good housewife huh?" Rachel joked.
"Something like that, but what you got going on?"
"Oh, nothing. Just planning on taking my bestie on a spa day."
"I can assure you that your bestfriend will be ready to go in thirty minutes." Kamryn grew excited at the chance to finally get out of the house.
