I placed my palm underneath my chin, wandering where the mix up erupted from.everything was perfect, it was fixed properly, all medications were regularly given, what happened? Did something go wrong?I had everything undercontrol, absolutely everything.it beats me.
This is my field for crying out loud, I technically make milliions per hour out of this, and such a case has never been reported.why this? And why now?
I stood up from my sit and began to pace around my office like one who's death was at the corner.
Failure is not an option I must do something,I can't let this ruin me.
"Any luck"a familiar voice asked as it's owner walked into my office.
"Not yet,I've tried everything I know but it's not working, instead the situation keeps getting worse."
"Well your best isn't good enough, keep trying untill something happens"
"I will"before I could put mself together in other to go back there and try again a panting voice stole my attention
"Doctor, come quick.She's acting abnormally".

"Kate please hurry were fifteen minutes late."kate's late again.she wouldn't be late if she wasn kate, the company party had already began and mr and mrs Jack were waiting for us.
"Am sorry Andrew, baby Jack gave me a hard time while putting on his shoes"
"It's alright, just get into the car."immediately we were properly sitted in the car the the gate man open the smaller gate for a boy to come into the compound.
"Who's that Andrew?are you expecting anyone?"I threw kate a dull glance
"No, am not."the boy walked towards the car and knocked on the glass.I whined it down.
"How can I help you?"
"My name is Daniel, and am here to deliever an invite to miss Rachel Jimmy Jack for the forth coming GMA"he stretched out his hand from his bag and handed me an invitation card.
"What's a GMA?"kate inquisitively asked.
"Gospel Music Awards,"really? Rach? Music awards?
"Why is she invited?"
"Are you kidding me? Your not aware?" He reached for his bag and brought out jeweries.
"This is also for her, and now to answer that Jamb question of yours, miss Rachel's song has been nominated under a particular category for an award, so please make sure you tell her it's really important, good day"
And he left.
"Kate did you know about this?"
"No, am just as surprised as you are"
"Woaw Rachel was really talented, am so happy for her, I wish she was here to hear the good news."
"Hmm, Rach Rach Rach what a mystery you are, Andrew can you drive now?"kate sounded jealous, am pretty much sure Rach's gonna win.It's just so unfortunate that you didn't live to witness this happy moments.
"Andrew, drive.were late.immediately I put the on ignignitione gate man opeopenede smasmallerte for a girl,she looked familiar,oh yes,Rach's best friend vikky she was happily running towards us,she halted after she noticed we were about going out.I had to whine down the glass.
"Hello vikky, it's been a while"
"Yeah, that's true.am sorry for taking your time but Rach's song has been nominated in the GMA,"
She had this glow in her eyes.
"We already know vikky"kate harshly responded.
"Yeah but we didn't know She wrote a song nor produced one."
"Well, I knew .we went to the studio together, ans recorded it.we were supposed to go back to the studio and complete the payments so the song could be produced but the same day we agreed to go was the day she travelled to America .so I went alone, completed the money and the song was produced, now she has neen nomited."
I didn't even realize I was weeping.
"Andrew please not another tear, we all feel the same way, what can we do"vikky joined in the tear pool, suddenly my phone rang, it was mr Jack,I clicked on the answer button.
"Hello Andrew, were are you people?"
"Am sorry were late but were on our way."
"You better hurry up"
"Yes sir" and he cut the call.
"Am sorry vikky we have to go, see you when we get back.Andrew drive"
Vikky waved bid us good bye, and I zoomed off.

"Can you explian the reason for your lateness, cause as heir to this company you should have been first in line Andrew".
He screamed so loud that my eardrums were affected .I brought out the invitation card from my bag.
"Am sorry sir, take a look at this"stretching the card towards him, he threw me a nasty glance and snatched the card from my hand without looking at it.
"Is this how you plan to tell me that your getting married?
Wait what?, did he just say marriage?mr Jack was funny indeed, how could I possibly do that.
"Hahaha, I could never hide such a thing from you like that, it's not my wedding invitation letter"he gave me a wierd look and opened up the invitation letter.
"Are you serious"mr Jack asked after reading the invitation card.
"Very"I responded.
"so my sweet daughter wrote a song, recorded it and produced it?"
"Well she did, but vikky helped."
"Oh vikky is aware and she didn't border telling us about it?"
"She said they were to complete payments to the producer on the very day Rach left for America but since Rach left, she went alone and completed the money and that's how the song was produced, no one knew the song was going to be nominated untill ".
"What's happening Today?"a familiar voice questioned,turns out it belonged to mrs Jack, she walked in on us.mr Jack handed the invitation card to her and she collected it, while reading it, after few seconds she used both hands to cover her mouth,letting the Invitation card fall on the ground.
Mr Jack quickly held her ans she ruined his designers shirt with her tears, she weeped for a very long time,mr Jack just kept patting her back.I could feel her pain
The tears just had it's way of running down my face.it was quite sad.she made them proud and now she wasn't alive to get a pat on the back for a job well done.God bless vikky for beign a good friend.
"I wish I never agreed to that evil idea".mrs Jack cried out.
"It's okay dear, it's okay".mr Jack pleaded.
Apparently we were outside and the party was inside, we were missing out on all the fun and excitement except Kate and little Jack who were in there having fun.
"Please I think we should go inside or I'll just space away, so you guys can have a liitle time for yourselves".and I left immediately.
The organizers of the GMA didn't even know she was dead.
