It was a beautiful Saturday morning, I was happily washing off the cars, while everyone was inside the house carrying out a chore, except for mum who was making breakfast and waiting patiently for vikky to bring the nanny.maybe we all were actually waiting for a nanny.
I think we kind of needed one, cause we were all quite busy with work and stuff.after washing off the last car, I washed my hands and feet and moved into the house.
Kate was on the phone, ordering drinks, canopies, varieties of food, and clothes that would be brought to the house next week Wednesday for her traditional marriage.
It just wasn't easy.since the day detective Williams proposed to kate she's just not beign the same.she's been planning and smilling a whole lot, well am kinda glad he mended her broken heart, it's about time kate left this house.
"Andrew please you'd be putting on three wears that day, the taylor would be coming tomorrow to get your measurement, thank you"
She didn't even wait for my response.And she's back on the phone.am pretty sure I forgot to mention that the pastor would be visiting for prayers this morning.I guess he just drove in.
I ran towards the curtains for confirmation.
Yeah, it's him.I quickly rushed to open the door for him.
"Good day sir"he smiled at me and walked into the living room.
"How are you Andrew?"
He sat on the sofa.
"Am great sir"
"How's everyone, especially our bride to be?"
"We're all fine sir, let me go and inform them about your arrival."
"Alright son"
I quickly moved to the kitchen and told mum, immediately mum rushed out to the living room and greeted them, after which I went upstairs and informed dad.after ten seconds he was downstairs.
then few minutes later mum and kate set the table for breakfast.
"Please shall we all move to the table to break bread"
And we all moved to the table except baby Jack who was still asleep, immediately after the pastor prayed for the meal we were about to eat before we heard a knock on the door.
"That must be vikky"mum muttered, and quickly I rushed to open the door. Indeed it was her but she was alone, yet she had a bag in her hand.
"Helo Andrew"
She walked in with a huge smile and spotted everyone at the table
"Good morning all"greeted vikky
She got a response.dad and kate kept eating.
"Vikky how are you"
"Am great ma, Andrew take this, it for Rachel"
When I opened the bag I saw an award, and a check.
"What's that?"mum asked
"It's the award Rachel won for the song she sang."muttered viikky.
Yeah, about that.we couldn't go,the day of the awards was the same day we traveled to the states.too bad of us.
The whole house payed attention, everyone was quiet.I handed the award to dad and tears swimmed through his eyes, mum looked like she had lost her appetite and kate kept starring at the award.
Suddenly little baby Jack started crying, mum rushed upstairs to go get him, by the time she was down he had stopped crying, then all of a suddenly he began to cry again.I reached for him but still he wouldn't stop crying
"Vikky aren't you supposed to bring the Nanny?"
Same thing that's been on everyone's mind.answer the question
"Oops, naughty me.forgive my manners I did bring the nanny, I just pray your going to love her.nanny oh nanny you can come in now."
Muttered vikky who moved towards the door and opened it for the Nanny who walked into the porch and dusted her feet before entering into the house.
One question please, was she hausa or Indian because the wraps were quite much.everyone was stunned at her appearance, am pretty such mum was beginning to think that vikky's gone crazy.
Apparently I thought so too.
"Hello mum, hello dad, hello kate, hello pastor, little baby, and you Andrew, hi"
Greeted the nanny who unvielled her self.
I jumped into the kitchen, mum ran towards me and snatched Jack from me then she moved ran into the garden, kate hid under the table and dad shivered behind the pastor who was still sitting down and smilling.
Vicky quietly took a sit on the sofa.
And am like, what the hell is going on.my heart kept beating so fast I could here mum crying and shievering, kate was damn scared. Dad just couldn't believe his eyes.
"Mr Eric call your family in.gather them around and take a sit."
"Pastor are you serious, is that what you think I should do?"dad asked.
"Mr Eric please waste no more time."
Dad managed to call out to everyone without moving an inch from his position.I was still in the kitchen.
"Andrew what's going on?"
Mum asked me,
"Dad said we should all come inside"
Mum managed to tip toe into the kitchen,dad and kate were at the dinning.
"Mrs Jack, Andrew, please come inside, nothing will happen, everyone should please take a sit, everyone please take a sit"
We all ran to the dinning table, I stood, mum sat with Baby jack ,kate stood close to mum, dad pulled his sit close to that of the pastor.and sat down.
"Hmm my own family is afraid of me, why?after all am better now, isn't that what you all wanted, am better now, stronger now, I hate failing, and I also despise traitors, infact I've never felt so much better in my life, kate you look like you've seen a ghost,if I remember correctly you told me to have fun at dieing and if I resurrect you'd see me in a month's time.harsh kate, that was really harsh, your words got to me and truly death came but it wasn't fun at all.dad and mum aren't you happy to see me, you should be happy. Vikky told me I passed the same jamb that made you flung me into hell, hmmmm,I hope you were really glad when you saw my score 255, what a great one and yes Andrew I missed you so much.I really did miss you.and that's junior Rachel, mum am so proud of you.I can't wait to hold him. although the school of resurrection did a good job, I must appluad them, they really did their best after all am no longer scared of heights,I hate failing and I can do a whole lot of things. and yes, how can I forget, my dearest aunt Nelly and uncle Joseph who ruined the rest part of my life.they transformed me,I never wanted it,hahaha but they still did it anyway and when the consequences came knocking they tried to kill me.hahahaha thing is they thought they did but they failed cause ,he saved me"
Rachel began to weep, no one could speak.the pastor kept smilling vikky had a sober face.
"He saved me"the tears from her eyes flowed like a river.mum, and kate were in tears, baby Jack was laughing.I still couldn't comprehend what was going on.
"I had not eaten for three days,my hands and legs were chained while a part of me was psycho, I could see it all and hear it all but none knew it, Joseph stocked some handkerchieves into my mouth and sealed my lips with a tape.he threw me into the trunk,and when we got to my killing point he opened the trunk brought out some woods and large tyre to setup the fire.immediately after he did, he threw me into the fire,I burned, I hurt, I was destroyed and the last breath I had was taken away. Next thing I knew I found my self in this beautiful place, it was so beautiful I felt so happy to be there.I felt a certain kind of joy that I had never felt before, I was free, I just kept smilling and playing .it was so beautiful I just wanted to remain there but suddenly I heard a voice, it told me that my mission on earth wasn't accomplished and that's how I awoke.I found and old white woman cleaning my foot with a cloth.apparently I was at a house."
