My phone fell off my hand,I took three steps backward.My eyes never leaving her face.I fell into the sofa behin me like a chopped tree.
The help I thought I had was gone.her corpse was just laid there.and just like that she left the earth.within a twinkle of an eye?
I just lost doctor kylie, and she was a key piece to this puzzle.
What do I do now.suddenly a doctor entered into the room.
"Sad isn't it?"she asked, while starring at doctor Kylie's corpse.
"But, what really happened to her?"
"Hmm, she was diagnosed of a certain brian poison.such poisons are meant for the brian,it's either it destroys your brian or it kills you.we tried all we could to stop the poison from destroying her brian and we did but unknown to us it had sneaked into to her system and sucked up all the blood, water, and cells in her body.and before we could discover this.she was already gone,she died this morning"
I had a heavy heart.Doctor kylie had been my doctor for twelve years.and this is how I loose her?
"How did the poison get into her system?"
"We really don't know but her husband has spoken to the police and their working on it."
"Wonderful. Before she died she was trying to tell me about a patient, who had was recently moved out of this hospital.She said the patient had a peeling skin and mania issues can you recall such a patient?"
"She was brought in by a woman?"still not sure of what to reply I just lie
"Yes, few days ago"
"I do recall the patient, but what I didn't understand, was why the woman stopped doctor kylie from administering phenothiazine antipsychosis, in other to cure the maniac behaviour
"Oh really? And if I may ask what's the cause of the maniac behaviour?"
"Well sometimes it could be as a result of a loaded brian, it could be natural, or it could be caused by drugs"
"So in that patients case, what was the cause"
"Young man this is strictly confidential, why all this question?"
"Doctor, I really need your help.I need you to tell me everything you know about this patient immediately so I can save her life before something bad happens to her."
"My question is why the interest in the patient and who are you to the patient."
I was really beginning to get tired of all this stupid questions.
"Were family friend's, HE r father is one of the best medical practitioner I know and yet he moved his daughter out of his hospital to be treated in another hospital at outside the states of America, and there you just said it.her mother didn't want doctor kylie to administer the cure on her, isn't there something suspicious about this whole thing"
"You have a point but that still doesn't give me the warrrant to disclose such information to you."
"Doctor please, this girl is in danger, if my calculations are correct .they might kill her anytime soon.I've know doctor kylie for twelve years.if you have been working in this hospital long enough then you should recognize me, am the young boy who was brought in from Nigeria for an appendix operation, the one who's father gave all the doctors in this hospital 1million dollars each,simply because the operation was successful.do you recall?
He opened his mouth wide and removed his eyes from mine.
"So it was your father?"I nodded.
"I wasn't one of the doctors that operated you but yet I still got the money. My wife used that money to buy a coffe shop, an till date that cofee shop is still functioning and flourishing.young man ask me all you want and I'll not miss a word from the answer that your searching for"
Woaw.his beginning to open up.that's a good start.Nelly and Joseph prepare to go down.
"Let's start with her name"
"For us to get this full details, we have to go to my office,I think I do have a copy of some of her result cause I ran most of the tests"
And so we moved down to his office and sat down while he searched for her folder.
"Yes, I've found it, her name is Kimberly"indeed .why are my not surprised.
"So doctor can you please tell me what was really wrong with her and why her mother brought her here?"he sat on his sit and flipped through the folder.
"Her skin was beginning to peeling off and another skin was forming,there were no medical reasons as to why her skin kept peeling off but am certain her mom wasn't very pleased."
"Do you by any chance suspect that a plastic surgery was done and probably the skin peeling off is the one which was attached during the surgery?"
"Yes.according to the test.kim had undergoe more than one plastic surgery on her body.although it was perfectly fine.nothing was wrong but the skin from the surgeries began to peel off leaving her original skin to form,and her original skin looked Nigerian."this is awesome.
"Let me guess, her morther wanted you guys to stop the fake skin from peeling so the original skin will not be recognized?"
"Exactly"
"What about her voice, did she want you to change it or something.?"
"Yes, she wanted us to do another voice surgery on her. but we couldn't put her through one more surgery of any kind if not she'd so we couldn't"
"And the maniac? What's the reason for it?"
"Results from the test showed that kim has been on a steady intake of a particular drug .and she almost could not go a day without the drug has.she had too much of it in her system and because of that the drug colonized her entire body system and that's what led to this partial maniac behaviour"
"Partial in what sense?"
"Partial in the sense that a major part of her has gone insane,while a little part is still sane"this is interesting.
"So there's still a chance that her sanity can be recovered?"
"Yes"
"Okay, and I guess it's this phenothiazine antipsychosis, that can cure her?"he closed his eyes and nodded.
"Okay you said she's been taking drugs, what drugs was she taking"
"Apparently she was feeding on a drug known as amnesia worsener.if one has an amnesia and he or she takes this drug your amnesia becomes much more worse than it should be.that is to say that if your amnesia is due for two months, and you take this drug continuously your amnesia will keep extending from two months to five months, five months to seven months and so on and so forth, so long as you keep taking the drug"
Interesting.so this was how they won her over.indeed Nelly and Joseph were evil people.
"Woaw, the question now is why would a doctor and his wife feed their daughter with an amnesia worsener"
"That's cause there's something they do not want her to remember.but Jake what's your point, why the investigation anyways"
"Your a smart doctor, look at the results of the test again, remember what happened while kim was here and review our discussion, you'd figure it out.but first do you know were they stay?"
"No I don't.but since you put it that way.do you think this Kimberly's case has anything to do with the death of doctor kylie"
Sure,why didn't I think of this.Nelly must have killed kylie just to cover her tracks without knowing that someone else was aware of the incident.
"I believe" suddenly distracted by the cop's who matched into the office sticking out their guns at us.
"Am detective Williams.,and these are my men.mr Jake your under arrest as a suspect for the death of doctor kylie, remain silent or anything you say would be used against you in the court of law".
