It was a long ride to the airport, the minute after dad pulled over at the car park, we each came down from the car, dad opened the boots and Andrew helped remove all the luggages.I held baby Jack and mom held her suitcase, while dad and Andrew held the rest of the luggages as we moved into the airport.
"This had got to be a dream" I whispered within me, I turned weak,it was shocking and so unbelievable,I could see the shock on dad's face, he just didn't know if to move backward or move forward, he was quite still for a while, mom's lips were positioned like she was about to articulate the letter U, Andrew made a smiley face but I think he pretty figured the cause of the unprepared silence and the surprise stares fixed all over the place.
"Eric? "A female voice called out.
Apparently aunt Nelly was the owner of the voice.
"What a surprise Nelly,we were actually on our way to America, to surprise you and your family but it seems like you've beaten us to our own game".
Dad put a smile on his face that touched his eyes, mum finally bursted out her laughter and ran to hug Nelly,Joseph walked up to dad and embraced him, aunt Nelly walked up to me and snatched little baby Jack from my hands .
"Woaw, this is a real shock to me, well I guess they'll be no need to travel anymore so I'll just go cancel on our flight." Dad muttered before shotting our luggages back into the boots and heading inside the airport to cancel on the flight.
Mum gave Andrew the house key so he could go home and bring back another car.uncle Joseph suggested to go with Andrew.
Mum and aunt Nelly began to chit chat about little baby Jack and the surprise,I just leaned on the car boot and that's when I noticed my new cousin.
Well she was quite pretty, tall lean and I really couldn't tell if she was American or Nigerian, although her complexion was quite light in a way and she looked so foriegn but, well whatever, her accent would expose the answer am looking for.
"Come to aunty sweet heart"mum called out.she ran towards mum and gave mum a hug.
Woaw that was fast.
"Whats your name pretty?"mum asked with so much concern,
"My name is Kimberly, but you can call me kim."oh yeah, it's Nigerian, she was Nigerian, mum smiled at her and embraced her once again, did she hug her again cause she liked the name kim? Or she was only beign nice?well, Who does that?
Am pretty sure I now know who,
"Hope I didn't stay too long?"dad's voice distracted, mum turned her head to the right, and then to her left, searching for the owner of the voice, dad walked up to mum and snatched kim from her hands.
"You have a very beautiful daughter Nelly,"dad said as he embraced kim and then Aunt Nelly thanked him.
"Where is Joseph and Andrew?" Dad asked with great concern, mum gave an answer to his question .
Am pretty much sure mum, dad and aunt Nelly were expecting me to throw myself at kim in a big hug, but "nahh,I'll pass".
things didn't quite work out that way, instead I fixed a plastered humourous smirk on my face and waved at kim from my spot .
Yeah, she waved back and it was settled.soon enough Andrew and uncle Joseph rode into the car park .Apparently aunt Nelly and her family were supposed to camp at grandpa's place but no my mom couldn't keep her charity heart to herself she had to persuade everyone so aunt Nelly and her family could stay with us for the weekend.oh well, she won.

The ride home was as noisy as expected, dad and uncle Joseph just couldn't help it, chit chatting here and there but mum didn't want me to be part of it, cause she insisted on Riding with aunt Nelly, Jack and Andrew while I get to ride with dad, uncle Joseph and her, the girl.
I'd use the word ugly, maybe cause she's a little bit prettier but am definately sticking with the word ugly,she looked quiet and peaceful but I felt noise and war, there was just something about her that I couldn't exactly place my finger on but it was a working progress.
"So cousin, what's your name?"
That voice.her voice distorted my thinking and stole my attention from myself.though it sounded a little bit familiar but oh well I was told God made everyone double.
I flunged my head towards my left to meet her stare, then our eyes locked.
"Kate Jimmy Jack, any confusion? Or similarity or you've gotten the confirmation that we ain't sharing surnames?"
Her eye lids widened up as she leaned her head backward,
"Easy triple H, it ain't wrestling,I just wanted to break the 30min silence"
Oh someone's been counting, really? That's not even long enough, 30 minutes of silence Is nothing compared to what this weekend is going to look like, before I get done she'd probably start begging for a decamp.
"your right kim, it's war, not wrestling,if I were you I'd get my weapons ready" she put a smile on her face that touched her eyes.
"Really? I can't Wait to win"
Holy Jesus, this was the devil himself in form of man, did she really just say she couldn't wait?,well I'll show her that I've never lost a battle before.
"Hahahaha,like I said before, my name is kate Jimmy Jack, the daughter of Eric Jimmy jack not a poor orphan from the street, pray not to find yourself in the gutters begging,before the weekend runs out"
She smiled again and bowed her head while shaking it sideways.then she applauded me.
"Her majesty, with all thy beauty, grace and power she just wasn't good enough to be married,Hahahaha.thy prince stood her up at the altar, or should I say? Abandoned you at the altar, hahahahahaha"
My head felt like it was going to explode, my temperature raced high, my heart was beating so fast like never before, I thought I had lost my breath,it's like I felt myself gasping for air, I think my lungs were closed and before I could utter a word my hands were covered on her left chick. The sound of the slap kept re echoing in my head.dad pulled over the car.
"Kate what's going on? Who did that?"I could see the tears running down kimberly's chick but that served her right.
"Uncle Eric Kate slapped me, she just raised her hand and hit me"
Dad and uncle Joseph came down from the car.they beat the car door wide opened.dad reached for Kim and tugged her into his arms while uncle Joseph stood beside him and gave her consoling glares.
"Kate what's wrong with you?"he had this "am going to kill you look,"I was so speechless,I had no words of my own to utter.
"Joseph am really sorry, this had to happen, kim am really sorry okay, she didn't mean it".
