This I Love

Sunshine

Look at Taylor and baby Theo, they are so cute. 

I walk up to the large house, a few memories of the old days flooding back. All of the laughs, all of the smiles.

 I hear voices outback, and make my way to the backyard. It was hot, boiling hot today. The pool was filled up, the water sparkling from the suns light.

"Hey you." Axl grins

"Hey." 

"Duff's over there." Axl smirks, pointing over towards the grass where Duff was doing pushups. My eyes were immediately drawn to his back muscles, the sweat on his back makes his skin glisten. 

I hear Axl chuckle a little, making me snap back to reality.

"What makes you think I'm here for Duff?" I ask

"Well, what are you doing here then?" Axl questions

I remain silent for a few seconds, shaking my leg while trying to compose an answer, "Yeah I'm here for Duff." 

Axl grins, "Always knew you were."

I roll my eyes and walk down the yard, "Hey McKagan." 

Duff stops, looking up at me. "Well hey there, Stradlin." He says, standing up. My stomach does a flip, as my eyes trail down to his abs

"Eyes on mine, Sunshine." Duff says with a wink

My face begins to feel hot, "I was just looking at-"

"I know what you were looking at." Duff laughs

"Shut up." I mumble and hit his arm

"So whats up?" Duff asks and wipes his forehead with a towel

"Just came by to see you." I shrugged

"Oh, how thoughtful of you." He jokes

"Stop it!" I say, a smile finding its way onto my lips

"I'll throw you in the pool." I say

"Oh, I'd like to see you try, honey." Duff says with a smirk

I grab onto Duff's torso and try walking backwards with him towards the pool. One thing I forgot was how hard it is to move him. He's like a tank.

Duff starts laughing as he stumbles back with me, I make it to the pool, and push Duff towards the edge.

I raise my hands to shove him backwards, but Duff grabs onto my wrists and quickly swaps places with me so that I am hovering above the blue water. Duff has a grin on his face and pushes me backwards, but I fall to the ground and manage to shove Duff in.

"Ha!" I shout

Duff shakes out his hair as he comes to the surface, "You know this actually feels good." He grins, moving his arms around in the water

"You should come in." He smiles up at me, squinting from the sunlight

"Nah, I think I'm good here, where its dry." I giggle

"Aw what, you don't wanna be wet?" Duff asks, smirking and raising an eyebrow

I drop open my mouth, "Shut up, you perv!" I laugh and throw the closest thing near me, which happened to be an empty box of cigarettes

"You don't wanna get wet with me?" Duff adds, still laughing

"Oh my god, stop it!" I shout, my cheeks burning red

"Oh fine," He chuckles and gets out of the water, stretching his arms out

"How bout a hug then?"
