Chapter Four

Here is the update. I hope you guys enjoy. I'm going to try and upload every week just so I don't forget about this story again. Tell me what you guys think so far!!! What do you think will happen? (Honestly I have a gist about how I want it to go but I seriously have no plot....) It's not really edited due to lack of time but I hope you guys ignore my errors until I can go back and change them. -wolfstar18

His expression saddened and he scribbled more down.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Were you real young?

I was young enough to forget what happened. All I can recall was my mother screaming and my father carrying me out of our house. Sometimes I imagine there was a fire or men in complete black with guns. But I didn't like thinking about it. "Yah."

I couldn't bring this out. Not after 17 years. "I've was raised in foster care until I turned 18 and then I've worked since then."

Did you ever find yourself acting weirdly? Different from the other girls.

I thought about it. I went through puberty just like the other girls. "I was teased." I said thinking about the time in middle school where I heard someone talking to me in the bathroom. "I was in seventh grade and I had gone to the restroom. I heard someone call my name and I answered back. They told me they were my friend and that they were excited to meet me. I asked where they were and they said they lived inside my head. Basically there were other girls in there and they couldn't hear the voice. I was teased all throughout the rest of my school days for it and I just ignored the voice from then on."

He looked at me for a couple of moments before writing something down.

Does your friend still talk to you?

"No, she stopped after I graduated from high school. You're not going to start teasing me now are you?" I asked giving him a look. He smiled and shook his head. "Why do you ask?"

When a pup is starting to go through puberty, their wolf makes an appearance. Usually it's either with their first shift or a voice in their head. If the pup allows that voice to grow of shifts more, the more their wolf matures and grows. Your little friend was your wolf. She's been dormant that's why you can't sense anything. You never let your wolf become a part of you.

So she's basically lost now?" I asked feeling slightly panicked. Wait was I really starting to believe this?  

No, we just need to awaken her somehow. I'd have to do research on this. I've never heard anything like this happening.

"What do I do? Try and contact her?" I asked. Ok, little friend, I'm really sorry for shutting you out for all theses years. Please come back to me.

I think we need to get the doctor involved on this too.

"What if I can never get her back?" I asked meeting his eyes. He shook his head with determination. A few moments later the door opened up and the doctor came in.

"Well  Luna, you look like you're feeling better." He smiled at me. 

"Still sore and very tired but not too shabby." I said trying to calm myself.

We were silent for a few minutes as the doctor and Alpha had a staring contest.

"Uh, should I be in on something?" I asked watching them. The doctor turned and smiled at me.

"Alpha Logan and I were speaking through mind link. The telepathic way for him to communicate other than  using sign language." The doctor informed. I nodded and sat back in the chair. "Now you've lost connection with your wolf, that's why you don't understand him?"
