LOGAN'S POV:

I woke up to Caitlin shaking me. It was the first time I had been able to sleep without Zoe and I didn't appreciate being woken up. But the look on Caitlin's face told me something was up.

"Caitlin, I'm in Bear Claw Creek. They're here. Please hurry, I don't know how much longer I can last."

"Zoe, you have to get out of there. Run!" Caitlin said, her voice shaking.

My hear broke and anger flared. I jumped out of be and pulled on some clothes.

"I'm too weak." I heard her say as her voice cracked. "Just hearing your voice has given me so much. I love you guys. I love you guys with all my heart. I love you Logan and I want to be yours forever. Find me."

The phone went dead and I let out an inhuman growl. I was pissed. Someone was going to die for this. There was a knock on the door and both Caitlin and I knew who it was.

"My father is gone." Nipel said out of breath. I grabbed my winter coat and headed for the car. I asked one of the patrol wolves to follow the scent of Alpha Colton and report back to me.

Caitlin and Nipel followed me to the garage but Nipel held back as we jumped in. Our gazes met and I understood why she didn't want to go with us. A showdown with her father was not something she was up for. Brody and Tanner appeared and hopped in the backseat of the car. Lord knew we were going to need them. Zoe, here we come!

ZOE'S POV:

"LET ME GO!" I screamed. My shoes were covered in mud and dirt as I dug them into the ground. I was being taken back to Alek and I couldn't take it. I screamed and fought as hard as I could. What was he going to do when I got back there? Murder me no doubt.

I was yanked up onto the brute's shoulder and I took a moment to rest. I had to get out of here, Alek was going to kill me. The only thing keeping me alive was him being interested in me. Now that I have completely destroyed that, there was nothing holding him back.

I was so tired of this and I just wanted to be done. I sniffed trying to stop my runny nose and smelled a familiar scent. I sniffed more and watched as two glowing eyes grew closer. A sense of calm came over me as I recognized mama wolf.

She walked stealthily behind us, her eyes never leaving the brute who carried me. I didn't know whether to distract the man or stay still. That is until she jumped on the back of the man and ripped into his neck. I went stumbling into the snow and took off. I had to get away.

A blood curdling yelp stopped me and I turned to see the young pup hanging from the other rogue's mouth. One snap and that pup's neck would be in two. Anger boiled inside me along with a protectiveness. I turned and bolted back towards the rogue faster than I had ever moved before. I tackled the rogue to the ground as the pup went flying, landing softly in a pile of snow.

The rogue threw me off and I landed on all fours. I snarled and watched him as he examined me. His face looked a little confused, but I knew not to fall for it. I stayed focused and planned my attack. He looked injured in the tail end, if I could just get to that area, I may be able to weaken him more. Or if I jumped forward, I could make him fall on his butt and do the same thing.

I rolled my shoulders and jumped forward. He yelped as we rolled, and I tore into his neck. I ignored the taste as I yanked and tore apart the monster. With a satisfying snap, the rogue went limp and I got off him. I huffed as I backed away.

"Well done, young one." Mama wolf breathed. She looked relieved when her pup trotted up to her. I smiled at the sight. "You shall be rewarded for your efforts, but we must go. There is still danger nearby. "
