Three hours until show time: Im back in Shawn's room, he's still not home yet, so I'm taking this time to change into my clothes for the show, in a little more privacy than I've been used to these past few days. I tug on a pair of black leather leggings and stare at myself in Shawn's mirror. Leggings and a black lacy bra, I must admit, I look hot, but it's not me. I look through my stuff for a top, and find a tie dye, black tank top and pull it on. Better, but its still not me. I need something to tie this whole thing together to give me a better stage presence.

I look through my bags throwing things out and back in until Shawn's room begins to look like my own, clothes, shoes and books scattered everywhere. Then I see it, the leather jacket Sophie got me as a going away present. I slip it on and walk back to the mirror. I can barely recognize myself, but I'm happy with it. "You, Hayden Elizabeth March are going to kill it" I whisper to myself.

Suddenly the door swings open and Shawn rushes in. When he sees the clothes scattered across his floor his eyes find mine, then he looks at me, all of me, not just my face. He smiles. "You, look perfect, Miss March" He says to me.

I smile back then look around at the mess I made of his room. "I'll clean this up and meet you in the Jeep in fifteen?" I ask looking for some more time alone before the show. He nods and without thinking stamps a kiss on the top of my head before closing the door behind him. I'm frozen in shock, but I quickly compose myself and start to clean my stuff off of his floor and put it back into my bags. When I reach down the side of his desk to grab a book I knock a pice of paper off the corner, the same paper I noticed earlier this week. Its taken all of my will power not to open it and look at it. Something inside me though, is urging me to take a peek. After all it is the day of the show, I mean it wont hurt. Right?

I look around and quickly throw the book back in my bag before making my way back over to the paper with my name on it. I open it slowly, I see a lay out of the stadium and see four seats marked with bold, black X's. Confused I open it a bit more to see a receipt for those for seats, totaling to close to $1500. I am about to investigate more but Shawn honks his horn signaling that it is time for us to head to the show. I quickly fold up the paper the best I can and put it back on his desk, then I grab my phone and rush out to the running Jeep in the driveway of the Mendes house.

When I get settled and Shawn starts to drive there is a bit of silence between us. The problem is, its not the comfortable silence there usually is, it much more awkward and uncomfortable. I know it probably has something to do with him kissing me. I mean Hunter kisses me like that all the time, but Shawn isn't Hunter, I haven't known him since I was born, I only met him less than a year ago.

"I'm sorry, about earlier" He mumbles, turning into the back lot of the venue.

I squeeze his hand and give him a light smile. "You don't have to be sorry, it was just instinct. Now come on, lets go make this the best concert of your life."

Shawns POV:

That was the problem though really. It wasn't instinct, I did it because I wanted to kiss her. Just once, I know after tonight things will be different, Chase is going to see her in the environment that she belongs in, and he's going to fall even more in love with her. Camilla will help get Hayden a record deal with her label, and we wont be around each other like we used to. That's okay though, it's whats best for both of us I think.

One hour until show time: "Shawn, Shawn" Hayden says waving her hand in front of my face like the first day we met, "It's time for your Q and A". I blink at her for a moment then nod as I run out onto the stage to take a seat on the edge in front of the few lucky fans who got tickets to see me up close and personal.
