I wake up my back stiff and I almost think that I'm still in Canada, on Shawn's floor getting ready to leave for another day of tour.  When I roll over and open my eyes however I see Chase lying next to me, his chest slowly rising and falling. His messy brown hair sticking to his forehead with sweat.

We're in a tent, still at the lake. Sophie and Hunter are no where to be seen, though their stuff all over one side of the tent suggest they were here earlier.

Careful not to wake Chase I slip out of the tent, grabbing my phone on the way out.

"Morning little bug" Hunter says, startling me.

"Morning" I say rubbing my eyes, walking over to sit next to Sophie who offers me a mug of coffee.

I gratefully accept it, knowing I'm going to need the extra caffeine this week. And the rest of the month to be honest.

"So who was calling you all night?" Sophie asks glancing down at my phone.

"I don't know" I say, not having a clue what she's talking about.

I look down at my phone.

Three missed calls from: Shawwwwwnnnnn.

I gulp and look up at Sophie.

"Its just my dad, I should probably call him back" I lie, getting up and walking to sit on the dock, a place I know they wont hear me.

I sit down and let my feet dangle into the water. Then I pick up my  phone and press, call back.

It rings for a while, and I'm starting to think he isn't going to pick up. Then I hear a click on his end, and his voice.

"Hayden?"

"Yeah Shawny boy its me"

"are you okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know"

"You're the one who called me three times last night Shawn"

"Yeah, sorry about that. I just wanted to let you know how it went."

"So how was it. Playing Madison Square Garden for the second time?"

"Almost as incredible as the first."

"How were the pictures Brian took?"

"Good but not as good as yours I promise" He says, and I can almost hear him smile, "I'll send you them later okay."

I hear, footsteps coming up behind me and I know our time is up.

"Okay. I gotta go I'll talk to you later though. Bye"

"Bye Hayden."

The footsteps stop behind me, and I stay quiet for a second. I hope that who ever it is didn't catch on that I lied.

I slowly turn my head to see who is behind me.

"That wasn't your dad was it?" Hunter asks, looking at me a little sadly.

I shake my head, "it was Shawn".

"Why didn't you just tell us the truth?"

"I don't know, I just, thought I shouldn't bring him up. Not with Chase around", I reply honestly.

Hunter looks at me a bit confused but then shrugs before turning around, leaving me by myself on the dock staring out onto the water.

I think back to the last time I saw him. It wasn't any more than two days ago, but it felt like weeks. He kissed my head, and held me like Chase does when he's sad. Maybe all guys do that. They want to be held, just like girls do.
