The last song is written, all thats left for me to do is record the demo. Theres one problem with that though.
I have to do it with Jenna. No one else knows how to use the soft ware to get my recordings saved onto disks and flash drives. She doesn't know what I saw, nobody does, except Hunter.
When I asked Sophie what happened to Jenna's mystery guy she said that he ditched her, so she drank. A lot. Before she knew it she was making out with a random guy and then she fell into the lake, it sobered her up enough to make her realize that she probably should go home and sleep.
I haven't even talked to Chase, and I think that's what hurts the most. He probably called her Hayden, he does that when he's drunk. That's how he was when I first met him actually, he was crying, severely drunk yelling after me, calling me Ashley.
My phone rings, and I roll over to the other side of my bed to see who has the nerve to bother me at ten thirty at night. I see Shawn's name on the screen and I smile a little, sliding the green button to answer.
"What do you want Mendes?", I groan and I hear him laugh on the other end.
"Nice to talk to you again too"
"Yeah, Yeah, how's the new apartment", I say a grin threatening to take over my face as he launches into a detailed story, as he usually does, about moving in, and how Brian threw him a huge party, and how his view is insane.
"I wish you could see it", he says and my smile slips away slightly.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah"
Both sides of the line stay quiet for a while, I close my eyes and listen to the sound of Shawn's breathing on the other end.
"So is the last demo ready for the studio?", Shawn says referring to the place I will be with, him and Camila Cabello in only two days.
"Almost", I say vaguely.
"Almost! Hayden you leave tomorrow night!"
"I know, I know I'm getting it recorded tomorrow"
"Why did you not do it sooner, you texted me that it was done, like three days ago?"
"It's a long story Shawn, I really need to go now okay?"
"Okay Hayden" He sighs from his end of the line, "I'll see you soon then"
"Yeah, soon".
I throw my phone off my bed, as soon as he hangs up. It lands with a satisfying thump on the floor. Then, finally I burrow myself into my blankets and drift off to sleep.

My alarm wakes me up early and I have to roll out of bed in a tangled mess of blankets onto the floor to shut the obnoxious noise off. Ok, on a regular day it wouldn't seem so annoying, it is my favorite One Direction song, but when I don't want to be disturbed, I hate it.
I have to call Jenna today, I have to record the demo today, I have to see Chase today.
I am currently dreading all of these things, and I have successfully been avoiding them for the past three days. Making small talk with Chase over the phone, and excuses why I can't meet up. I've also been telling Jenna I'm busy, every damn time she calls. Which, let me tell you was like three times a day. I think I might be going insane trying to procrastinate on this much stuff at once.
The first thing I do once I'm up, fully awake and dressed I text Sophie asking her to tell Jenna that I will be over later today to record. I avoided talking to Jenna, for now but I have to go see Chase. There's no getting out of that one.
