Weak

You entered the house as quiet as possible, hoping that Spencer would be still asleep so you could pretend everything was normal.

As soon as you closed the door, you heard his voice making you jump.

"what is this?" he asked, tapping his foot repeatedly on the floor.

You froze and cursed under your breath. of course he was up, he never woke up after 10 am. You slowly turned around to meet his irritated face.

"um what's what?" you tried to act confused but it was useless, he knew.

"(Y/N)...we talked about this, you need to stop inviting stray cats into our house!" he scolded you.

"but Joe needs a..." you started to say but he cut you.

"Joe? You named him already?" Once you gave them a name it was all over. You're attached, they're attached. "We can't fit more cats in the house, no."

You stared at him and pouted. Your little kitty Harley needed a friend and Joe Ker was perfect for her! it wasn't like you had tons of cats, you only had like 5.

"Stop giving me those eyes, it won't work on me..." he said, unsure. He knew that if he kept staring back at you he would give in. You had the prettiest eyes in the world and they could make him weak every time.
Just one look, and he was gone.

You stayed silent for a few minutes, collecting Joe's stuff and putting your shoes on.
Spencer watched how your shoulders dropped and you're eyes lost the little spark you had when you were happy.

He took a deep breath. one day, you'll be the death of him. "wait....i guess now that you named him we might as well keep him" he said.

You turned around so quick that you got dizzy for a second. "are you serious?" you asked, hopefully. He nodded and just like that, you threw yourself at him, leaving little kisses on his face.

"you're lucky you got pretty eyes" he laughed. feeling his heart beat faster at the sight of your happy face.

That's what he looked forward the most. just you being happy because of him. Even if it meant having cats and fur all over the house. it was worth it.
