She wanders aimlessly around the city, blinking away the tears that threatened to fall.

A monster. That's something she heard several times from a lot of people. Her family, the people who once were her friends, lovers, everyone she knew, really. And she expected it from everyone else, except Spencer. This time the words pierced through her skin, leaving her whole body aching.

She only felt this way once in her whole life. The day her mom was beaten to death by her father. And yes, her mother spent most of her life drunk or high, or maybe both, but she loved her as much as she could.

On her 8th birthday her mom bakes some cheap brownies and put a cigarette in the middle simulating a candle for her. That was the last time she sees her.Her father stumbles 30 minutes later and just for fun, he beats her mom until she stops moving, right in front of her. Then he falls asleep laughing his ass off in the couch like nothing ever happened.

The day after she does the same to him, beating and burning and just...hurting him, but she doesn't kill him. She tells him to go and never come back with the promise of a slow and painful death if he ever crosses her path.

Huh,thinking about her father's frightened face made her feel a little better.

Taking a deep breath, she tries to figure out what to do next. Light a house up? boring. Maybe kill someone on a dark alley. Huh, too messy.

She keeps walking until she feels a hand on her shoulder. She cocks her head back, hitting the persons nose, ready to kill them, feeling the fire form in her hands.

"(Y/N)! is that how you treat your best friend?"

She stops. Her whole body freezing at the voice. It can't be. she thinks, slowly turning around to see a tall muscled man in a black suit.

"no fucking way. Capitan?"

"The one and only" he smiles, hugging her.

-Capitan slicer. They met the first time she got locked in a lab. They people in there used to experiment with kids with rare abilities like hers.
She wasn't dumb, she knew she could just use her powers to break the cage she was in, but there was too many people and she didn't want to tire herself.
Instead she decided to talk to the little boy next to her, his eyes were red and swollen and he was shaking.

"So what are you in here for?" she asked him, smiling reassuringly at him.

He sniffed. "i..i killed my parents"

(Y/N)'a eyes lit up. "Me too! well, dad anyhow" she laughed. "I'm (Y/N)"

the kid smiled lightly at her. "i-i'm Capper"

That night, after the doctors and the guards left, she decided it was a good time to get out. She quickly bent the bars and hopped out.
She looked at her new friend, should she...?.

"Capper..psst" she reached down to shake the boy.

He groaned and sat up. "(Y/N)? what..you're out!"

She smiled. "No," she bent the bars on his cage."we're out"
She took his hand, running.

After that, they became inseparable, working and protecting each other. She taught him different techniques of defense and he taught her some of his skills, although she didn't need them to survive.

A few years later, they took different paths and slowly lost contact. She had to move to different cities and he decided to start his own company, leaving their powers aside. She was proud of him.-

They talk for a bit, telling what they've been up to since they last saw each other, laughing at memories of their days together.

"so what are you doing here?" they're sitting in the hood of a car.

"well, i found out you were here and what's best than a night out with my best friend?"

(Y/N) smirks. "well you came to the right person, C" she gets up. "Lets have some fun".

i have absolutely no excuse for my absence other than i haven't been inspired at all. i
