One Shot One Kill

Chapter​ 5

As soon as Fidi went out of the bathroom. She quickly dressed herself in a fitted short and a huge white shirt making it look like a dress, she felt comfortable wearing those.

She was about to take the violin from the wall, which she asked Hawk to get her, when a knock came from her door. She placed her violin down and walked towards the door

She opened the door and saw Snake Eyes standing at her doorway "Oh hey Snake. You need something?"

'Can I come in?'

Fidi didn't asked and allowed him to enter her room "Do you want--" she remembered that this man is wearing a full armored suit so she didn't bother asking a drink for him "Nevermind. So what's with the sudden visit?" She asked, taking a seat in a cushion. She asked Snake Eyes to take a seat as well which he gladly followed

'Are you okay?' he asked, tilting his head

Fidi nodded her head "Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"

'It's hard for people to tell others about yourself especially your pain and past. I came here to check if you were okay'

Fidi let out a small chuckle "So you were just worried? Don't worry I'm absolutely fine. I've already accepted my past so sharing a small amount of information about me is nothing" she winced when a sudden horrible memory flashed in her mind

'I don't think you even accepted it' he signed

Fidi fell silent, she looked at her hands and started fiddling them together "I'm sorry Snake. There are really times that horrible memories kept on flashing in my mind. Yeah-- maybe I still don't accept my past, maybe just a small amount of it"

Snake Eyes patted her shoulder to get her attention 'I may have something that can help you'

Fidi looked at Snake Eyes with confusion "and what is it?"

'Meditation'

"Things you do? Like sitting at the mat and just stay there like sleeping?"

'Close enough. But we don't sleep. Meditation is a matter of thinking. It helps you relax, improve your body health and may also reduce anxiety'

"You think it can help me?" She asked

Snake Eyes nodded his head 'It may be mind wrecking at first but as soon as you got used to it you'll be okay in no time. You will remember everything from your past and the meditation will some how help you to have closure​ with your past'

"Does it seriously help?"

Snake Eyes nodded his head 'It worked for me, though yours are much more different'

Fidi nodded in understanding "I want to try"

Snake Eyes nodded his head and took an indian seat at the floor. He motioned her to do the same and so she did 'You need a lot of patience in this. Do you trust me?'

Seeing his question, she quickly nodded her head. She really trust him, A LOT.

Snake Eyes felt relax at her quick answer and nodded his head 'I need you to keep your hands in your knees, anything as long as you feel comfortable. Then you have to close your eyes and take very deep breaths. Let your body relax and be one with your environment'

Fidi felt a little agitated. She's afraid that she'll face the worst memory she had and have a mental breakdown

Snake Eyes quickly held her hand and give it a reassuring squeeze when he noticed her expression 'Don't worry. I'm right here. I won't let anything happen to you'

Fidi felt her chest a little lighter and warmer, making her relax in his presence. She nodded her head and slowly closed her eyes, letting herself fall into her own thoughts

Snake Eyes watched Fidi while she meditates. He didn't bother looking away from her even just a second. He watched her flinch and crumple her face a few times, he can say that she's trying her best to fight

On the other hand, As Fidi feared, she is now facing her worst nightmare. She can see herself being tied up in a wall, chains wrapping her arms and legs making sure she doesn't escape

"Ona gotova (She's ready)" a man wearing a white coat announced in Russian as he placed the papers at the table "Gde syvorotka? (Where's the serum?)"

"Vot doktor krovi (Here's the serum Doctor)" a woman dressed in white responded as she entered the white room with a tray in her hands

Fidi couldn't quite see what's in the tray but she already had a feeling of what it is

Two men dressed in black took her down from the wall, taking off the chains from her body and placing her at the cold metal bed.

She couldn't fight or even speak, she remembered that she was injected by a drug before they bring her here. Her body is filled with bruise and wounds, her whole face is swollen and she smells like sewage

She knows why she's here in the white room. She failed one mission. She didn't manage to kill her target and so The House quickly took her back. Beating everything out of her for days, drowning her at the sewage and even burning her skin with fire. And after the pure torture she was taken to the white room to receive her last punishment

"vy gotovy angel (Are you ready, Angel?)" the doctor asked, showing the syringe in his hand that is full of blue serum "vy dolzhny imet' zakonchit' tselevoy bystro u vas dolzhno byt' sdelat' khozyayka ochen' razocharovan vy znayete kak temperamentny ona mozhet byt' (You should have finished your target quickly. You shouldn't have made the mistress very disappointed, You know how temperamental she can be)"

"pozhaluysta doktor pomiluy ya ne khochu eto (Please doctor have mercy. I don't want this)" She struggled under her breaths

The doctor didn't listen to her pleads. He injected her the serum with no emotions

Fidi felt the serum run around her veins, never leaving any part of her body untouched. Fidi tried to stand up but the restraints stopped her. She felt a slicing pain in every inch of her body, almost eating her organs. She didn't mind the pain of her body at all, she's not scared because of the pain

She's scared for the other life growing inside her and so she screamed

Snake Eyes noticed Fidi's body jerking more, her nails are digging in her knees. She's starting to sweat. He felt alarmed so he quickly held her hands together, squeezing it with assurance but that didn't help

Snake Eyes felt fear for the first time. Fidi started to mumble and scream in pain. She's jerking aggressively. He certainly didn't want anything bad to happen to her, if she keeps getting too drowned in her memories and emotions she'll fail the closure and may have a mental breakdown.

Snake Eyes tried to think of something. Something that will help her pull herself from the past and face the future. But what could she do? He can't speak, he can't tell her to do something

Snake Eyes shook his head. He'll sacrifice everything for her if he had to. He don't want to lose her at all.

Snake Eyes quickly hugged her tightly, despite all the jerking of her body. He slowly leaned his lips towards her earlobe and silently whispered "Fidi"

Yes, he broke his vow of silence for this moment. He means it, he's in love with her
