Chapter 18

Fidi sulked as she watched several cartoon movies while eating ice cream. It's already the fifth movie she watched and the fifth ice cream she ate.

Ripcord entered the room and saw Fidi's sad aura "Hey girl. What's the matter?" He took a seat beside her and looked at her

Fidi pouted and took a spoonful of chocolate ice cream "I feel like I don't know Snake at all"

Scarlett noticed Fidi sulking and Ripcord asking. She decided to join the club and seat next to Fidi

"What's up?" She asked

"She says that she feel like she doesn't know Snake at all" Ripcord said, repeating what Fifi just said

"What makes you think that?" Scarlett asked

"I didn't knew about Storm Shadow, I had to ask Lady Jaye on who he is. Even Lady Jaye knows a little about Snake's past!" Fidi sulked "Hello! I'm the girlfriend here! I'm not just someone he fucks" she frowned "Maybe he doesn't love me at all!"

Rip pursed his lips together as he watched Fidi stabbed her ice cream with a spoon. He motioned Scarlett to say something since she's a woman, she understands her

"Fidi, don't say that. Maybe Snake Eyes didn't bother to tell you anything since he already forgot the past and is now looking forward in focusing for his future with you" Scarlett said in a soft tone, trying to make Fidi understand

"Yeah whatever" Fidi responded, clearly not listening to her

Scarlett wanted to cry as Fidi's face falls down once again. She stared at Ripcord and asked for help

"Then what about we tell you something that we know about him like Scarlett here is his ex-lover, an ex-fiancee?" Ripcord said, trying to make everything smooth

Scarlett's eyes widens and her mouth falls opened

"WHAT​?" Fidi snapped. She stood up and glared at Ripcord

"Fidi! Listen to us first!" Scarlett panicked

Fidi didn't listened and just storm away while shouting "TELL SNAKE EYES THAT I HATE HIM! I DON'T WANT TO SEE HIM!" She slammed the door behind her, finally leaving the room

Scarlett glared at Ripcord and started beating him up

"Wait! Scar! I didn't mean it! It just got out of my tongue! I swear I didn't mean it--" Ripcord cried

Duke and the others entered the room "What happened?" He asked

Scarlett stood up, looking angry "This idiot Ripcord did something annoying!" She said and told the others what happened

"You can't control your words Rip" Flint commented as soon as Scarlett is done with her stories

"Way to go Rip, you've just made everything worse. I hope Snake Eyes won't kill you" Breaker said as he cleaned up the ice cream containers from the coffee table "That girl just ate a lot of ice cream I wonder if she's not puking"

"I told you I didn't mean to say that" Ripcord cried

Snake Eyes entered the room with Storm Shadow. Everyone felt silent at their presence

"Is there something wrong?" Storm Shadow asked as he looked at the team with an ill-tempered face

Roadblock looked at Snake "Snake. You might want to go to her room. You need a lot to talk about yourself"

Snake Eyes looked at Roadblock, understanding the situation, he quickly went to go to Fidi's room

"I'll pray for your soul Rip" Jinx said as she left the room

Snake Eyes quietly entered Fidi's room. He took two steps forward and three daggers were flying towards his direction, he quickly dodge them with his katana

"What the fck are you doing here?" Fidi asked, obviously in a pissed tone

'I came here to talk. Roadblock and the others told me that you're unhappy'

"Do you know why?" Fidi asked

Snake Eyes shook his head and Fidi rolled her eyes

"I don't really want to be a btch but I am going to be one" She raised her hand and looked at Snake "Why not tell me about yourself? Your past? Everyone in here knew something, even just a little. I had to ask who was the man you sparred with! Snake Eyes, I'm feeling that I don't know you at all! I didn't even know that Scarlett was your ex-lover, or rather ex-fiancee!" She sighed "Snake, I'm not someone who you fck, okay? So if you will keep me from the dark and don't tell me anything maybe it's time we end everything" she said while blinking

Snake Eyes felt tensed at her words. He walked towards her and touched her hands 'You're not someone who I fck Cassandra! I love you! I do!' He sighed and kneeled to meet Fidi's height 'You want to know everything? I'll tell you everything. I didn't tell you yet since you're not asking and I thought it was already okay not to say anymore' he explained

Fidi tried to blink her tears away. She's been awfully emotional today and it's making her really uncomfortable

"I want to know you more" she said softy "I want to know everything about you"

Snake Eyes nodded his head and took of his mask. He told her everything, well actually he used sign language. He told Fidi that he was a beggar when he was a little kid. He sneak inside the temple to steal food but Storm Shadow caught him and almost killed him if it wasn't for the Hard Master. The Hard Master gave Snake Eyes shelter, food and clothing. Snake Eyes trained with the Hard Master whom he loves so much. He respected him so he trained to be a good ninja. But one day the Hard Master was killed and everyone suspected Storm Shadow, Storm Shadow run away and ended up at Cobra's lair where he became Snake Eyes enemy. Snake Eyes took the vow of silence to honor his master, he vowed he will find the culprit and bring justice. But Storm Shadow said that he's not the one who killed the Hard Master, the man who killed his master was Zartan who is now dead thanks to Storm Shadow.

Snake Eyes also told Fidi about his past with Scarlett. It's true that she was an ex-fiancee of his. They were planning in getting married but something happened. One of Snake Eyes apprentices died because of this Snake Eyes falls into depression. Scarlett tried her best to understand Snake Eyes but she knows it will not work out

"Then why are you two so close?" Fidi asked

'We decided to stay good friends and ally to each other. I respected her decision and broke our engagement' He signed

Fidi hugged her legs and looked at Snake Eyes "Don't you love her? I mean you were almost married to her meaning you both love each other very much" Fidi admits to herself that she's jealous of the two. She's just a girlfriend and Scarlett is one step ahead of her

Snake Eyes looked at Fidi to study her actions. She looks fidgeted. He raised his hand and signed 'I did loved her. We both did but we also know it wasn't going to work out. Now, I am happy for her decisions, I am happy that she have Ripcord by her side. I love her but as a sister now' Snake Eyes held Fidi's hand and kissed her temple 'I love you more and I want to spend my life with you'

Fidi blinked the tears away as she looked at Snake Eyes "I'm sorry I'm being too worried and emotional. I don't know what's gotten into me"

'You are a woman, it's normal to get emotional'

Fidi smiled "You know a woman well huh. You playboy" She said and kissed his lips

Snake Eyes caressed Fidi's cheeks as he kissed her back

"You said you want to spend your life with me. Is that a proposal?" She asked

Snake Eyes smirked and signed 'Maybe'

Fidi rolled her eyes. 'What a tease' she thought
