Chapter 8

They safely landed in France. Fidi took her luggage with her and walked out of the plane

"Oh yeah" Fidi looked at Duke "Aren't you banned from France? Hawk told me that some of you are banned from going to France especially Paris after the--"

"The destruction of Eiffel tower? And most of Paris?" Duke continued "Yeah, I am banned. Lady Jaye and Snake Eyes are not banned from here, just me"

"So will you be okay?" Fidi asked

Duke nodded his head "Of course. I asked Breaker to change my profile so that the officials won't notice that I'm from GI JOE. I'm safe. But just to be sure, You and Lady Jaye will do the interaction"

Fidi looked at Lady Jaye who didn't even bother looking back at her "Okay. What about Snake then?"

"He'll be close to us. He can't walk with us but he'll be close" Duke answered

Fidi nodded her head and looked at Snake Eyes "It's cool?"

Snake Eyes gave her a thumbs up

"Let's go"

And so they enter the airport, finding the exit

"Bonjour manquer. bienvenue à France (Hello Miss. Welcome to France)" One of the attendants greeted them and Fidi greeted them with a smile

"Are we taking a cab or what?" Fidi asked

"Cab" Duke answered, arranging his cap properly "A car is already park at the Hotel, that's what we're going to use for three days but for now we'll ride a cab"

"Understood" Fidi and the other exited the airport. She talked to the cab driver to take them to their hotel "So we rest first then we'll start our work tomorrow?"

Duke nodded his head "Lady Jaye. How's Roadblock and the others?"

Lady Jaye, who's at the passenger seat, looked back at Duke "They've just landed"

"nous sommes ici. Hotel le Moreau (We're here. Hotel le Moreau)" The cab driver announced

"je vous remercie (Thank you)" Fidi said with a smile while she handed him their fare

Fidi stepped out of the cab and followed the two. Lady Jaye talked to the receptionist and asked for their reservation

"I'm so sorry Madam but you only reserved for three rooms" the receptionist said in a thick French accent

"How did that happened? We made sure to reserve for four rooms" Lady Jaye said, obviously pissed

"I'm really sorry. I already checked but it only says three rooms" the receptionist

Lady Jaye let out a sigh "Okay. Is there any spare room?" She asked and the receptionist shook his head

"It's okay Jaye. We'll​ think this through" Duke said in a calm tone

"Please prepare the rooms" Fidi said to the receptionist and he quickly nodded "Let's go"

"So what are we going to do?" Lady Jaye asked, crossing her arms "I'm not going to share a room with her if that's what you're thinking" she said while pointing at Fidi

Fidi glared at her "The feeling is mutual"

Duke sighed while they stepped inside the elevator "You two"

"I'll share a room with Snake then" Fidi said while crossing her arms

"Are you sure?" Duke asked "Well, let's ask Snake first If he declines then you'll be sleeping in my room. No worries I won't touch you"

Fidi scoffed "Duke. I'm not saying you'll touch. I'm just worried that I might be a reason for you to stop yourself from bringing some girls in your room. We don't want that now, do we?" She asked while smirking

"You're just like Rip" Duke said while chuckling "Come on. Let's meet Snake" he said as they l stepped out of the elevator and entered the room "Snake! Where are you?" Duke asked and in a seconds, Snake Eyes is standing at the corner "I take it you heard our argument from the ear piece?" Snake Eyes nodded his head "So what's your answer?" He asked

Snake Eyes nodded his head, signing that it's okay 'You need to find a woman so I'll be taking care of Fidi and I don't want Lady Jaye and Fidi to kill each other' he signed which Fidi translated

"Not you too Snake?" Duke asked in amusement "Fine. Here are the keys. Lady Jaye 601, Me 602, Snake and Fidi 603. So if something happens just call okay?" He said while giving the others the card key

And so the three left

Fidi run inside the room and pushed herself to the bed as soon as Snake opened the door "Wah. It's so nice in France. Ah" she sat up and looked at Snake "You're going to take a shower and sleep as well, right? I'm not allowed to see your face so" she reached for her bag and started to rummage her things

'What are you doing?' he signed

"Wait!" She said then pulled a black cloth "Here! I'll blindfold myself so that you can move freely!"

Snake Eyes' shoulder shrugged, he's laughing 'You don't need to do that'

"Are you planning not to take a shower or do something you need to do? No way. We're roomies we need to be fair. Anyways don't worry, I can move even when I'm blindfolded" She said "Maybe I should start wearing this" she was about to wear the blindfold when a pair of hands stopped her "What is it?" She asked

'I told you, you don't need to worry about it' he signed slowly pulling his hands away from her

Fidi had this urge to pull his hand back, she felt comfortable with his touch "What are you talking about?" She asked then her eyes widens when Snake Eyes reached for his mask and slowly releasing it from the lock. He slowly lifted up his mask

"Snake Eyes. What are you doing?!" She said, almost screaming. She quickly covered her face with her hands "I'm still not blind--" before she could even finish her words. Once again a pair of hands pulled her hands away from her face and there she saw Snake Eyes

His mask is off. Fidi stared at his icy blue eyes. She never encountered a very handsome man like him at all. He has an icy blue eyes, they seemed icy but calm. His dirty blonde hair in a Length on top style. He have an amazing jaw line and pointed nose. And his alluring pinkish lips. He looks perfect in her eyes.

Fidi gulped as she stared at Snake Eyes "A-are you serious?" She asked, almost like gasping

Snake Eyes smiled at her, showing his perfect white teeth. Fidi can feel herself almost dying

'Why are you so stunned?' He signed, looking at her with a questionable look

"Are you serious?" She reacted "You're asking me why I'm stunned?! Who wouldn't be?! Everyone is practically telling me that you never took your armor and mask off in most of your lifetime, that you took the vow of silence that's why you can't speak. And then suddenly you showed me your face! The face you kept on hiding! Fck! Why are you so handsome?" She said, exasperated, looking everywhere but him. Her heat is beating like sht and her tummy feels weird "Oh my God. I'm talking too much! I must be dreaming! Yeah I must be" she was about to slap her face but Snake Eyes quickly stopped her

'You're not dreaming. I'm really showing my face to you' he signed

"Wha- but why?" She asked

'Because I trust and love you' He signed, looking at her eyes with so much affection

Fidi almost forgot how to breathe when she saw what he meant. He loves her? It's not a joke right?
