Chapter 9

        You walked to the location hurriedly, this felt wrong but you felt like you had to do this. It was the right thing to do, you couldn't just leave him thinking that he might actually have a chance at being with you. There was just not a spark between you, well that's what you thought, "You're here" Taehyung said with a smile. "Hey, so what did you want to talk about?" you said softly, "About us.""Taehyung I-" he cut you off. "Y/N, i told you how I felt, I like you so much so why don't you just admit it." he said looking at you with a serious look in his eyes. "What do you mean by 'just admit it', Taehyung?""I know you like me too, I see it almost everyday, you like me. I can feel it." he said grabbing your hands, you pulled away. You couldn't believe him why would he just assume you liked him, you were so confused,"Taehyung" you took a deep breath, you had a feeling that you were about to lose one of your best friends. "Taehyung I know you care for me and you're like a brother to me, what I'm trying to say is-""You don't feel the same way." his once joyful expression was now emotionless and his hopeful filled eyes were now empty. He looked at you as if you were nothing he wanted to be bothered with, "Taehyung, I'm sorry." and with that he put his hands in his pockets and left. Suddenly your phone buzzed, it was Yoongi.

Yoongi: Are you just going to stand me up without calling me nor texting me?

      You ran as fast as you can to his house, when you made it you didn't see any of the lights turned on, you got worried. You tried calling him but you got no answer, you rang the doorbell just in case. To your surprise Yoongi opened the door just enough to where he could poke his head out, "What." he said coldly "Yoongi I'm so sorry, are you mad at me?""What happened, why didn't you show up?""I had to talk to Taehyung." you said nervously. He sighed heavily then opened the door wider to where you could see his whole body now, "So not only did you stand me up, you stood me up to talk to that bastard." his voice was full of hatred and his hands were balled up into fists. "Yoongi, don't say that! What happened between you two?""It's none of your business, just go." he said while closing the door but you stopped it with your foot. "Move out of the way" he said with a harsh tone "No" you said confidently "Y/N, just move""No, Yoongi tell me what happened between you and Taehyung." you demanded. You weren't gonna just sit here and let these two friends fight like this, he opened the door wider and gestured for you to come in. "It's cold and plus what I'm about to tell you is a long story" you nodded then walked in and sat down on the living room couch. "So, it all started sophomore year, I fell in love with someone truly amazing. She was beautiful and I mean truly beautiful, she had the most beautiful voice, her hair was long and healthy but she was absolutely stunning when she pulled it back. She was like me in so many ways, I found her so irresistible but it didn't last as much as I hoped it would. One day, matter of fact it was our anniversary, I was planning on surprising her with the song I wrote for her. But when I went to her house, you wouldn't believe what I saw through her living room window, her and Taehyung making out. Not only was my girlfriend cheating, but with one of my bestfriends. I was so heart-broken, I couldn't even look at Taehyung for two months and my so called love moved away within the next month of our break-up." he started to ball his fists  and clench his jaw. You couldn't believe that someone would do that to Yoongi, he was such a great guy, you didn't want him to ever go through that again, you had to keep him smiling and never break his heart. "Yoongi I had no idea-""Yeah, now you know why I don't really show my enthusiasm when you mention his name!" he shouted. "Yoongi-" you tried to calm him down but he just kept shouting at you,"What! Are you going to go running into his arms too!""No, I would never-" you didn't shout, you kept your cool, you wanted him to let it all out. "You're just like her, you just want to use me to get close to him don't you!?" he started to walk towards you he had a scary look in his eyes, you tried to back away but he grabbed you and held you by your arms. You couldn't escape his grip, your heart was beating rapidly, you were scared of him now, "Yoongi, you're hurting me" with those simple words his eyes went soft and he let go of you immediately, "Y/N, I'm sorry, I lost my sense of mind""It's okay." We were silent for about three minutes until I finally said something "Yoongi, I'm so sorry for standing you up but I had to let Taehyung know that I didn't have romantic feelings for him because I already had them for you" he then looked into your e/c eyes and leaned in. You felt his lips land on yours, you kissed back and it soon turned into a make-out session but you had to break away for air, the both of you were breathing heavily. "Good, because unlike my last, I won't give up so easily if someone tries to take you away from me."
