Chapter 13

Yoongi's POV

     As I sit in the library parking lot I think of all the possibilities that could occur once I walk through those front doors. I knew she was already there because I was twenty minutes late, every step I took towards the library the faster my heart beat went. As soon as I walked through the entrance, her head popped up to look at me but her gaze didn't last long. She went back to writing whatever she was writing  "You're late" she said in a stern voice. I sat across from her hesitantly, "I know, I'm sorry" I said lowering my head. I was apologizing for more than being late though, "So wha-" Y/N interrupted me by handing me a paper. "These are all the parts of the projects you need to work on. They need to be finished by Friday." I gave her a confused look. "I can't even stand looking at you, what makes you think I'll be able to work with you?" she said giving me piercing death glare and with that she packed her things and left. I waited 10 minutes before leaving myself, "I can't even stand looking at you, what makes you think I'll be able to work with you?" "Tch, wow. Well I can't really be the one to complain." I sigh as I walk out the library. I was about to walk to my car when I heard crying, she was a broken-hearted girl. How I know, I was the one who broke it.

Y/N POV

      Your heart was beating a million miles a minute, you couldn't believe the words that just came out of your mouth, you can't believe you said that to him. Yes, it was painful to look at him but to see those eyes that were once filled with love and care, only to be replaced by pain and guilt. Your eyes started to blur due to the tears that were swelling up in them, you then dropped to your knees and sobbed like a baby. "Y/N" you heard a familiar voice, you looked to meet those eyes that were once filled with that loving gaze. "What do you want?" you snapped at him "Right now, I want to know why you're crying" he said with a sweet and soundly voice you had missed. "What do you think?" you said on a smart tone, you wiped your tears with your sleeve and started to walk away. "Y/N, please wait. We really need to talk" Yoongi said grabbing on to your wrist. "Talk about what, us? I don't know why there is absolutely nothing to talk about. You dumped me remember!?" you raised your voice unconsciously. "Huh, I guess your right, I guess there is nothing to talk about" Yoongi started "Except, for the fact that I know something is bothering you! There's more to it than what you're telling me! Come on just say it, Y/N! Say it!" he yelled at you. "You wanna know what's bothering me?!" you yelled back "What's bothering me, is the fact that I tried my hardest to not fall for you and yet you reeled me in anyway! I let you into my life and guess what you did, you destroyed it." tears started streaming down your face as you looked into the sympathetic eyes of Yoongi. "Y/N I-""Why?! Why did you?" you interrupted him. "I thought I was protecting you, it was my fault you got hurt. I thought it was for the best" he said lowering his head. "But now I realize something." he started again "Being without you is like no pain I have ever felt before and I am the biggest idiot for breaking up with you" you could see tears swell up in his eyes as he spoke. His words were softening you up inside, you just wanted to run into his arms and hold him tight. But what kind of person does that make you? You ask yourself this question in your head "I am so sorry, Y/N" Yoongi said interrupting your thinking. You looked down contemplating on whether to forgive him or keep this anger and let him go "Yoongi I like you so much, you got under my skin and I didn't like it at first but then you made me feel like I could be comfortable with you, like I could be myself." you could feel a warm tear make it's way down your cheek. "But then that warm feeling came to an end when you decided that breaking up with me was the best thing for me" that anger that you had before came back only stronger. You hated it when people would try to assume what's best for you, only you knew what was best for you. "Y/N I--"" No! I don't wanna hear it!" you yelled then picked your bag off of the ground and walked away from the one and only Yoongi.

Time Skip

It's been two weeks since you and Yoongi's little argument and you haven't seen Yoongi since. Of course you were angry but it still worried you. "Psst" you whispered to the boy who's been completely ignoring you for forever. "Tae" you whispered trying to get his attention "Taetae" this time you whispered a little louder "Taehyung" this time you threw your pencil at him. That got his attention, he turned around and faced you with a death glare in his eyes. "What!" he whispered sharply "Can we talk after school? I really wanna fix this" you whispered lightly. He hesitated before nodding his head.
    You two decided to meet in the park, the same park where you and Yoongi would spend time together. As you waited you felt someone push you, you lost balance and fell. When you looked up you saw none other than Jae Eun and someone else. The identity of this person shocked you, it broke your heart to see him with her "W-What are doing with her?" you said with eyes the size of golf balls. "Taehyung, answer me!" you demanded, he just stood there glaring at you his eyes full of hatred, the same hatred that the snake standing next to him had for you. Jae Eun started laughing silently to herself then out loud "Oh, the reason he's with me is because you broke his heart like the dirty little tramp you are" she said while trying to calm down from all the laughing she had done. Your eyes didn't leave Taehyung, he looked at you with a burning hatred, this hurt more than the pain that came from your knee which was now bleeding. "Taehyung please don--" you were cut off due to the punch Jae Eun had thrown. You had a metallic taste in your mouth, then she started kicking and beating you, she repeated this until you finally passed out. The last words you heard were the words that crushed your heart into a million pieces " You should've been with me instead of that no good bastard"
