Chapter 16

Yoongi's POV

      I stand still as I observe the girl in front of me with intense hatred, confusion and shock.  "Yoongi, I've missed you" she takes a step forward towards me, I immediately step back, she frowns at my sudden action.  I can feel my hands shaking and the pit in my stomach grow deeper as my skin starts to burn, it feels as if I'm on fire.  My eyes start to water as memories of this girl and I take over my mind, I blink a few times to keep myself from breaking down.  "Yoongi, didn't you hear me? I said I missed you, did you miss me too? You may be wondering why I came back.  Well Taehyung told me that you still had feelings for me and that you wanted to start over so--" "Wait, you still talked to Taehyung?" my hands turned into fists at the sound of his name "I mean...yeah we're friends" she chuckled.  She was talking to me as if she didn't completely destroy me by cheating on me with my best friend, as if she wasn't the only thing that ever mattered to me back then.  "Friends? You cheated on me with him, you broke my heart, crushed it into pieces because of him and now you're telling me that you guys are friends?! He's the one that ruined our relationship!" she flinched at the volume my voice had risen to.  "Yoongi, please, listen to--" "No, I'm done listening to you, I'm done with you and you tell that scumbag I'm done with him too" I interrupted her "Both of you can rot in a ditch for all I care, it's over Sooji, it was over when you decided to go find comfort with him instead of the guy who was willing to die for you" I could see the tears that ran from those dark orbs down those perfect cheekbones right before I closed my trunk and walked away. 

Y/N's POV

      You look back to see if Yoongi had caught up to you yet but he wasn't there.  Out of worry and curiosity, you decided to walk back to his car to see if he was still there but five cars before his, you spotted him standing in front of his opened trunk, talking to a girl.  The girl was absolutely stunning, it kind of made you doubt your own looks but you continued to observe the situation.  You couldn't really hear what they were talking about so standing there watching them wasn't gonna do you any good.  But before you turned around, you heard Yoongi raise his voice and now you could hear him loud and clear "Friends? You cheated on me with him, you broke my heart, crushed it into pieces because of him and now you're telling me that you guys are friends?! He's the one that ruined our relationship!" an inaudible gasp escaped your lips.  You weren't an idiot, after that you knew exactly who he was talking to, it was her.  You quickly walked back to the front of the school and waited for Yoongi to catch up to you.  While you waited, you thought, Why is she here? Is she trying to get Yoongi back? Does she still have feelings him? Does he still have feelings for her? What is even happening, I feel like I'm in some sort of drama or something.  You rubbed your temples due to the headache that was starting to come.  "Are you okay?" Yoongi pulled you from your thoughts "Oh, yeah, let's go inside.  We're already late" you forced a small smile trying to cover up the fact that there were millions and millions  of questions going through your mind.  You both walked into the building and just like that, a swarm of girls came running but stopped when they laid eyes on you.  While Yoongi got heart eyes and compliments, all you got was nasty looks and complete criticism when it came to almost every girl in this school.  Even some of the teachers despised you because they think you're not "worthy" of a guy like Yoongi or any guy in BTS, " Yoongi Oppa! Why are you with her?" one girl said while giving you the side eye "Oppa, you should stay after school with me, I'll make it worth you while" another girl said while biting her lip, you just scoffed at her desperate and useless attempt to try and get in Yoongi's pants.  You could see that the popular boy was getting extremely irritated with all this.  It seemed that his patience had run out because he suddenly grabbed your wrist and stormed off and practically dragging you along with him.  You looked back to see the swarm of girls, some pouting and others glaring at you with extreme intensity.  The irritated boy pulled you into a room with him and locking the door after both of you were inside "Yoongi, w-what are you doing?" he looked at you with a facial expression you couldn't read.  He started walking towards while staring deep into your e/c eyes and you looked into his dark brown, mesmerizing ones.  He stopped when his face was only centimeters away from yours, he just stood there looking at you and you stood there looking at him in silence but it wasn't and awkward silence, it was peaceful.  He interrupted the stillness by pulling you in into a warm embrace, his sudden action surprised you at first but you hugged him back.  You both stayed that way for a while before Yoongi spoke "My ex is back" he said while still embracing you, he sounded as if his whole world had crumbled, you tightened you hold and sunk your head deeper into his embrace.  "I don't know why she's back but I hope her being here doesn't completely destroy the thing we have" you looked up at him and shook your head "I would never let that happen" he looked down at you and a small smile appeared on his face.  You returned this smile and sunk your head back into his chest while listening to his heartbeat, it was beating just as fast as yours.  "Y/N" you hummed in response, he whispered the three words you thought you would never hear from anyone "I love you."
