CHAPTER • 34

After having lunch in a fancy restaurant, Jeonghan and Miyoung went to Hongdae and stroll around while Jeonghan's arm above Miyoung's shoulders. While they are looking around, they saw a shop where it sells wedding gowns.

Miyoung stopped on her tracks and scanned the gown, which is displayed in front of the shop, through the window. Jeonghan stopped on his tracks too and followed Miyoung.

"Why are you staring at the wedding gown? You can't wait that you'll wear that soon, isn't it?" Jeonghan asked and grinned.

Miyoung just nodded as her response. Jeonghan intertwined their hands and said, "Don't worry. You're going to wear a beautiful gown on our wedding day and it will make you gorgeous."

They then started to walk around and look some stuff on each store they passed by. Jeonghan even brought Miyoung to a shop where it sells rings to look for their wedding rings.

The saleslady found them cute and wished the two that they will have a wonderful marriage life with their kids. The couple thanked the saleslady before they left the shop.

While they are walking around, Jeonghan felt his phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out and saw his father calling. He answered the call immediately.

"What's up, dad?"

"Jeonghan, where are you? There's an urgent meeting in our company."

"Is that so? I'm with Miyoung in Hongdae right now." Jeonghan said and looked at Miyoung who is also looking at him.

"Come to our company now. We have things to talk about."

"Okay. I'll just drop Miyoung to her house." Jeonghan then ended the call.

"Who's that?" Miyoung asked.

"It's my father. We have an urgent meeting in our company." Jeonghan said as he put his phone back inside his pocket. "But I'll send you home first before I go there." He added.

"Okay then. Let's go now."

When they arrived at Miyoung's house, Miyoung gave Jeonghan a kiss on his lips before she stepped out of her boyfriend's car. She waved her hands and waited for Jeonghan to leave before she went inside her house.

Miyoung got greeted by her mother and hugged her. She looked around the house, and realized that her mother is alone at home.

"Where's dad?" Miyoung asked.

"Oh, he's at the company, arranging some papers." Mrs. Jeon asnwered as she shrugged.

Miyoung just nodded and went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water. She went to her bedroom and took her phone out to call Wonwoo, who's getting busy with his career, because she misses her brother so much.

It took few rings before Wonwoo could answer the call.

"Hello Miyoung! You called. Why? Is there a problem?"

"None. I just miss you so much that's why I called. How are you and Mingyu oppa?"

"We're doing good and getting busier nowadays because we will start our Asia Tour by next month."

"Ooh, my brother is really cool. Finally reached your dreams with your best friend and getting more fans around the world."

"Yeah, thanks. I can't believe it too that I will become successful with my dreams. How are you and Jeonghan anyway?"

"Still going strong and planning to get married soon." Miyoung smiled widely.

"Omo, has Jeonghan had proposed to you?" Wonwoo seems shocked.

"Not yet but we already looked for rings earlier."

"Ahh, okay. But if you have finalized the date when will you two get married, tell me immediately so that I could excuse myself from my schedules."

"Of course, I will."

"Wonwoo yah! We need to rehearse now." Miyoung heard a voice from the other line.

"Hey Miyoung! I need to go now. I'll just call you whenever I'm free. Take care always and please tell mom and dad that I miss them so much."

"Sure. Bye, brother. Take care always and please don't skip meals. Love you!"

"Love you too." Then the call ended.

Miyoung lied down on her bed and decided to sleep because she needs to wake up early tomorrow for work but she didn't forget to send a message to Jeonghan before she slept.

Jagiya~ I'm going to sleep now. See you tomorrow!

JEONGHAN's POV
After I dropped my girlfriend to her house, I headed to our company. I went to the room where we usually held meetings and saw my parents with the Kim family with their daughter except for Mingyu because he's busy with his career.

Yes, our company has a partnership with the family of Kim Mingyu's company. It's for the good, that's what my father told me.

"Oh, Jeonghan. You're finally here. We have things to talk about." My father said when he saw me entered the room. "Sit down please." Then I did what my father told me.

"What do we need to talk about? Is there a problem within the company?" I asked politely.

"We don't have any problems in the company, son. We would like you to know that we're going back to Los Angeles next month but this time with the Kim family." My father said.

"But without Mingyu. He's a busy idol now, you know?" Mrs. Kim added and I just nodded on what they said.

I suddenly remembered Miyoung. I will be away again from her. I hope we won't take a long time there.

"How long we will be staying there?" I asked my father.

"Just for a month, son."

I sighed in relief. I thought I will stay there for a year. I can't take that because it hurts me that I'm far from my girlfriend.

"Good to hear. Then after that month, Miyoung and I will get married." I told them but no one responded. It hurt me though because no one's shocked or squealed in excitement on the news.

They sighed and just look at each other while shaking their heads except for their daughter. She's just looking down on her hands on her lap. I suddenly have a bad feeling about it and I think I won't like it.

"By the way, I know you already have heard that Mingyu has a sister but you haven't met her personally. So here she is, we would like you to meet and know her." My mother said, changing the topic. They then asked them to introduce Mingyu's sister herself.

"Good evening, Jeonghan-ssi. My name is Kim MinGyeong. Nice to meet you." She introduced politely.

"Nice to meet you too, MinGyeong. Your brother is really doing well with my girlfriend's brother." I smiled.
